In this song, adagio roughly means: If it is to be, then it will be. The interpretation of the song by Dimash is brilliant. He touches my heart and soul ... every time. What I love about the Chinese competitors is that they don’t behave like competitors. Everyone wishes everyone luck. Everyone watches the other’s performance. Clap, sing along. In my opinion, no one begrudges the success of another. They might not have taken Dimash seriously at first, but that quickly changed after SOS. Through ist honest, cheerful and open nature, he found friends very quickly. Contacts that still exist today. Especially to Terry Lin. It’s the guy with the glasses. They had so much fun together behind the stage. Just for fun, Terry adopted Dimash and Dimash named him Papa Lin. Do not be fooled. Terry is older than he looks. He was 50 years old then. Later they performed together on stage and sang Dimash’s song Unforgettable Day together. They visit each other when they can and send each other birthday greetings. Thank you for your interest (if you’ve read it this far). You may want to see, or even react to, videos that were filmed behind the scenes of the competition. They are very interesting if you want to get to know Dimash from a different, more private side. He often looks so serious on stage and some reactors got the feeling he isn’t very funny but that’s not the case at all. Once in a while he lost his composure and couldn't sing anymore because of laughter.

Dimash is so wonderful. It is a delight to watch him in those Chinese TV shows at that time too. He is so playful and cute. So natural and a truly warm person

Dimash came 2nd in that contest, he couldn't be the big winner because he wasn't Chinese, but the rules have changed since . De otra Dear más desde la primera vez que lo escuché cantar, estoy totalmente de acuerdo contigo en que Dimash es sin duda alguna el mejor cantante del mundo, eso no hace falta que se lo reconozca nadie, porque creo que el carácter humilde y la sincera modestia de Dimash no precisan de galardones ni ostentaciones. El es feliz haciendo lo que hace, y nos hace felices a todos los que le amamos, y creo que con eso es más que suficiente. Estoy segura de que el estaría feliz con que los mensajes que envía con sus canciones, particularmente con rhe story of one sky, despertarsen las conciencias de quienes se dedican a dirigir el mundo como si fuera su particular tablero de ajedrez, jugando con las vidas de las personas a su antojo y buscando siempre su beneficio, sin preocuparse de los daños colaterales. Eso sería, a mi modo de ver, el mayor logro y reconocimiento que Dimash desearía conseguir con su arte. De todos modos, tampoco estaría de más que se le reconociese por su talento artístico, en eso estamos apoyándolo sus dears de muchas partes del mundo. Y lo vamos logrando, cada día un poco más.

After about 4 years of hearing and watching this song, I still spend most of it wiping tears away. Dimash’s gift and talent is not just earthly. It is heavenly. He brings every word and phrase of each song to life. You can deeply understand his heart and soul from within every song that he sings. Thanks for all your great reactions. True appreciation is beautiful. Dimash has a Masters Degree in Musical Composition, and you can understand that by the evidence in all his work. He also displays Masterful talent in how he lives his life…in every way.

Hello, Arab Man. This was so great, just what I needed after a difficult day! You can really enjoy a performance - and have your own performance to entertain us! Thank you. Adagio is a Lara Fabian song. That is, the melody is old and there were also others involved writing the lyrics, but Lara Fabian is the original singer, which meant a lot to Dimash. I think many have already told you that Lara always was a big role model to Dimash. She also congratulated Dimash for his interpretation of the song, which must have made Dimash very happy. No interview with contestants is needed, really. Just look at their faces, lol. Dimash took a second place in that competition , I wonder how the winner felt. Dimash was just 22 years old. Yes, a kid, to most of us Dears. He already has such power in his voice and such control, and that seemingly endless source of voice and breath and music coming out of him. Now compare to how far he had come from 2017. He is only getting better as he matures. He took this Lara Fabian song to the next level and you could see the audience reacted to his voice. His voice was transcending and other worldly. It goes right through to your heart and soul. He performed it with such emotion and such passion. Magnificent.

Great comments - yes, Dimash "was just a kid - and he did that!" - and he has matured and grown up so much more since then - you would never have imagined that he could get much better, especially since he was so great - and perfect - back then already. Great reaction. Dimash the best

Dimash had already had music and performance training since the age of 5 when he appeared on "IAm Singer". He had won the Slavic Bazaar and the Chinese invited him to participate in their prestigious contest. It was his opportunity to introduce himself outside of Kazakhstan. His first performance, S.O.S, was a surprise to the judges and the other wonderful contestants. Couldn't believe their ears. Hunan TV filmed parts of the contests and televised Dimash to 600 million Chinese people! His career took off from there. Every performance was unique and very, very well received. Dimash in 2017 was 21 or 22 music college and us work

Oops. Rest of comment: He attended a music college and is now working on a PhD in Classical and Pop music. Hard working is probably an understatement as he continues to develop as a worldwide artist. Thanks for insightful and wonderful reaction to Dimash. It's really nice to share your delight and admiration as you discover another Dimash "gem". Two of my favorites are "Love Is Like a Dream" by Igor Krutoy and "Ikanaide". He knows exactly what he us doing skillfully yet sings with genuine emotion and artistry. He becomes the song and the music fills his being. Listening to Dimash helped me when U was very sick a year ago. Discovered him by accident on KZread and listen everyday. He takes us to a place where beauty, creativity, gratitude, respect, kindness, humility and humanity reside and it shines forth. Dimash sends so much love into the world along with his beautiful voice. No wonder he is so loved. I small definitely a "dear".
