Hello sir , i am into fish hobby since 2008 and i know and i have gone through the journey where information was too scarce and even if available was totally American based data oriented. So there was need of lots of reading , trail and error phase. But today after this video i am so proud and happy for all ur viewers -they don’t know how much they are lucky that instead of them doing all the work, you are there guiding them with every little detail and that too in our country’s language. Update: my tank was full of diatoms and I was struggling to remove it. After watching this video, I added phosgaurd within 1 week there is no diatom in the tank. Thank you Mayur Sir for being such a helpful guide who respond to each and every comment and help all the hobbyist 🙏

This is a very informative video. I have 120L gravel tank setup. I have started seeing brown algae under the gravels and shells. I already have a sucker fish in my tank. Previously i had powerhead filter in my tank. Recently i bought hang on filter (with carbon ) and now i have both filters running. I have lava rocks, driftwood, some decoration and small artificial plants in it. How to check for silicate?

Hello mayur sir..i have started fish keeping hobby since 2 months..as i used to keep fishes when i was kid..but i was not aware that much regarding this at that time..but now i m a medical practitioner and have some time for my this hobby..so i decided to keep fishes again..n i am very fortunate that i got to watch your you tube channel..i try to follow all instructions given by you..i have also made siphon from plastic bottle..i also clean aquarium as demonstrated by you..asy aquarium is of 1.5 ft..as you suggested to start with small one..i use power head filter..n not using bio media..but clean filter with the aquarium water only to maintain bacterial colonisation..i have two gold fish and two red cap..n everything was fine..i feed them with floating food..since four days my one gold fish was stiking sideways to the stand of filter..but when i put food it use to get active and eat..i watched your swim bladder dissease video..but i thought it i normal..as it is swimming normally and only sitting sideways..but today morning it didn't swim n was only merely breathing..i hold it in my hands n it didn't responded much..than i watched another video in which it showed to enter saline rubber tube in fishes mouth n press its stomach which will remove its gases or any liquid and n than through that saline rubber tube give metrogyl solution..i tried..but as i inserted tube..n pressed stomach..it went off 😭😭..i previously tried feeding all my fishes with green peas..n next day with coriander leaves..sorry i m writing so much..but please sir really need your valuable suggestions 🙏🏻

Hello sir, Thanks for the information. Regarding cycling the tank initially while setting up my acquarim i did not know tank cycle. But recently after seeing your videos on it . Understood the importance for tank cycle and i started using API quick start while doing weekly water change. I added API quick start to a 5 months old setup tank with live plants and 5 litre capacity. Now does this API quick start help in cycling my tank.

Thanks for the information. My aquarium has getting algae on plain stones and decorations made of ceramics which is black in colour. When rubbed by hand it goes off very easily. There is no algae on glass. It's a gold fish only tank with small pebbles in bottom and having a top filter and led light. It runs about 7-8 daily. Can I keep on sucker mouth popularly known as crocodile fish to clean up the algae or use algae remover as shown in the video. Please clarify Thanks.

Sir, I face some kind of brown coloured growth on the tank walls often and they usually can be cleared by just using a scraper or a toothbrush. I was under the impression that it might be Diatom or Brown algae, but in this video you happened to mention that Diatoms rarely grow on the tank walls. If that's the case, may I know what this growth could be? Also, I happened to have been one of the early visitors to the Bangalore gallery and I must say, it felt surreal seeing all the tanks. Thanks in advance.

It seems my tank is now suddenly developed green algae as my tank water has turned greenish yellow, have also changed my bio filter media from normal ceramic rings to API Bio media with water care + treatment 2days back but the green water is still there though it has become light green now. Can I use UV submersible sterilizer which I brought it today from your kurla shop. For cleaning The Alge.1we should use CNC milling machine for crafting the stone for various designs like mountains forest. And should make sure the stone have not silicate.that should be the reason for increasing the population of datoms(alge). 2.The dezine of crafted stone is used for cleaning in planted aquarium. We put plant in a small pot and fixed in cnc crafted stone in aquarium.this is why.because 3.When we saw the infection (alge . datoms) is raising in the aquarium. We should able to clean each and every infection separately. For example. 1.seprate plant from CNC milled stone from the aquarium and wash them very clear ly taking precautions by maintaining pH levels of water. And same manner. We should check and clean every thing. 2 like fish 🎏🐟 in separate water tank.this is for fish safety maintaining pH levels of water 💦. 3.After applying this we should clean the infection 98% in just 12hrs. 4. With out disturb ing the fish and plant. 5. After clearing the aquarium infection.we should re store the natural environment for the fish 🐠🎏 and aquatic plants. Thanks you sir.

Sir what is Best in bare bottom tank RO water OR Tap water? In RO there may be lack of vitamin and minerals but it removes hard chemicals and eventually fishes will gain Vitamins in food So what to do?

Made my tank algae free by converting it to a blackwater setup. Cons : 1.Only low light plants can be used. 2.Not everyone likes its appearance.
