Thank you so much. Sir this is a very good series sir to break down the mith created as to befor I had spoken to you regarding BBA and grean water algey even i was following what other hobbiest had told me which is BBA and green water algy is bad but after speaking to you 2to 3 years ago i understood it's an indicator to what could be wrong and from that day till date I have not used any algi remover in my tank and I normally controle with 2 things 1st keep my parameters stable and I know it's not in our hands it's up and down but that's when I use autoscinclers and other algy eating fishes

I have a set of questions for you sir.In my one year old planted tank there was sudden outbreak of black brush algae in about one week.so i removed all stem plants, trimmed montecarlo carpet, cleaned a lot of detritus (even after weekly cleaning) then added some new Ada soil, added some hardscape ,replanted the healthy tops of stem plants. Adjusted light time 5.30 to 10.30 pm and co2 time 4.30 to 9.00pm.adjusted flow control level to decrease flow of AquaEl 1000 filter for 2 ft aquarium.Then started filter with all fish and shrimps .My question is is there a threat to the ecosystem for this new formation?. In 3 days no amonia smell ,TDS 175.aded some new plants

The BBA could have come from The excess nutrients form the new soil, or form the plants, or the excess flow form the filter, check these There is no issue you can control it

Sir here is a big problem in which I need ur advice. Which canister filter should I use for my 650 ltr cichlid aquarium because I have tried sump filters but problems of overflowing were frequently increasing over time and I don't have space for an overhead sump filter . So keeping water clean is becoming a great problem for me and untidy water is creating problems for my fishes

Sump is the best option, you can get a no return valve to control the over flow, yet the best filter options for you would be Oase 850 Bio Master, you will need 2 of them

I have the answer---- First you seperate your discuss fish in your another aquarium or in a bucket with the same water. And when your tank will be cleaned at that time check with water tester. The water chlorine & nitrate must be in zero position. If it's zero then you can add your discuss fish again. To decrease the nitrate & chlorine you can use water conditioner & stress zyme.

This is a stressful time for the fish, yet there is no easy way to do the cleaning, you could do your maintenance in a ,manner where the fish do not stress out, so this is up to you, also make sure the new water temperature and ph are the same

What about non planted aquarium...is algae ok for it to live in the tank

I have a guppy tank with babies in it . They are 2 days old guppy babies . I also have a guppy with internal parasite. I have to feed the sick guppy epsom salt but I cannot stop giving food to the babies and adult guppies would also eat it. So can I feed the sick guppy with epsom salt in the same day of feeding food ?

Are bhai aap Sabi fishes ko add nahi kar sakte, Baby size fish laoge to safe rahega wo easily tank mein adjust ho jayega lekin big size ke fish ko adjust hone mein time lag ta hain wo adjust nahi bhi ho sakta, Aur fish quantities aap konsi fish rak rahe ho uske upar depend karta hai.

Q1- You can keep these fish, yet understand the issues, Discus and Angels will eat smaller fish, Barbs can hurt the angels and Discus, mollies can hurt the discus also, here the rule of thumb is to have fish from the same region and keep either angels or Discus not both Q2 - Not a good Idea, i have replied to this question Q3 - Replied to this QUestion

My spot algae on glass is getting very strong, it's getting on leaves as well ......... I have increased CO2 level , I have to clean my glass every 2 days but it's not getting under control.,.., please guide sir. I change water 50 percent every 2 days .
