@@BeachSharkFishing yeah that’s right. I have buddies who have them and run 1000 plus yards out they use qcontrol app. Set points and just let it drive and all. The kayak is the easiest but when it’s lil rough or late boat is the ticket

Good video, it gives the initial gist to most guys that haven’t seen the boat in action and kudos to you for the hard work that’s involved in video editing the information so it comes out in a clear and concise manner. When you get the telemetry setup, save the missions for ease of repeatability, can drop any size hydrodynamic bait up to 30lbs., can drive it at National or State seashore (unlike dones which are illegal to fly there), and you don’t have to mess with the generator/gasoline as much with the 3-6+X the battery efficiency for the Aquacat vs. the drone’s batreries….you’ll be busy making ads on Marketplace to get rid of your drones.

JUst got my Aquacat out this week in Miramar Beach Fl. For one I wish I had gooten the Lipo batteries instead of 12V. How easy would it be to convert? Where is the best place to get Lipos? Can someone tell me how to clear waypoints out? I think I have a random waypoint in there that I can't clear. Other than that, super happy with the purchase. There is nothing like it in the US. Shipping from South Africa was expensive.

I like the size rack you have....it looks on the smaller side but still looks like I does the job 👍

That depends on your charger. Mine will automatically detect the batteries settings but i still double check it matches the battery

$400 shipping is a little high for me. Is there any way around this obstacle, other than buying used?

I only used the aquacat twice and it's currently in the shop getting upgrades to its electronics. If anything I know feel even stronger about the aquacat being more valuable then drones.

Travis - I have a video request. I know you are constantly driving on the Texas beaches. What are the keys to protecting your vehicle from salt spray and sand? I would assume that there HAS to be some diligent actions required or a guy’s vehicle would rust up pretty bad within just a few months.

Its a losing battle bro. Wash off is all I do. I bought an old 5,000 dollar 4runner just for the beach. If you want to play this game there are some variables, quite a few actually beyond your control. Rust is one of them.

Can you give me general guess on the runtime you’re getting out of that battery before charging?

It runs probably 10 baits depending on distance and size. But you want to let the battery cool in between runs. It last a long time.

What’s the biggest bait you have hauled out with it, as in not in the compartment?

As far as bait size this thing has the drones beat. But I don't normally run massive baits. Also the boat doesn't have the same restrictions as the drone.

Just remember to manually drive your boat to the side a few feet so that when you hit RTH you want run into your line.

In Florida there really isn't a need for RC devices because of how easy it is to fish. Texas is way harder, I think that's why so many Texans out fish the locals so often. Except of course the true OGs of the panhandle. I'm not going to call out names but most the youtubers in the FL panhandle are clowns. True blue and dark side are some real OGs. Have you heard of them?

The boat is not bad it's the lipo battery's that gets expensive. $325 for one. I did get one for backup. Yeah I paid around the same.

I was thinking the same thing. Iv built 60-bait boats over many years sold many years ago I can’t believe the cost of this boat and people have to buy the battery separately and the radio is cheap crap and know fish Finder. I could build the same sort of thing with hard wired fish Finder and cameras LEDs and so on for a lot lot less money the salt will eat it away slowly I’m not in to sea fishing I’m pike / carp. I would fit a fish finder in that boat in no time but would never pay that crazy price but that’s me. I personally like building my own then I can fit what ever I want to fit I have 4-bait boats
