we used to go to the river in the bend in caernovan, next to the river battures.. theres a big flat we used to walk out on, and fish for largemouth bass, catfish, ect.. it was a good spot.

im talking abt the opposite side, in the river.. along the battures.. back behind where the old trade school was.. right where the levee bends hard, you walk down to the river and go to the right abt 50 to 75 yards and theres a big sand flat that goes pretty far out,, alot of baitfish used to hang on that flat.@@RiggedPFA

we used to set trot lines in the river battures between the willow trees back there, the big ones tasted like straight motor oil, so we would let them go..

Cheating ? Using a hook was probably called cheating once. Then when everyone was using hooks, having a hook with a barb was called cheating. This is just progress.

You may be able to preorder one from BREAKAWAY TACKLE in tx. I have preordered one from them a couple of weeks ago. I didnt get the fishfinder with it/ I paid 760 shipping included.

A used $100 kayak would be better. 8ft
