Using an RC Boat to Catch BIG SHARKS in Destin!
Спорт
Destin Surf and Shark fishing - Non Stop Action! Ive had lots of questions about my Aquacat RC bait boat. So I finally made a video showing the Aquacat in action. I hope you like the non-stop action in this video as well as seeing the Aquacat do its thing. A special thanks to Blake for happening by at the perfect time and helping me release the last shark of the night. If anyone is looking for a surf fishing charter in the Destin area Blake runs Reel 30A Surf Fishing Charters and Surf Fishing Equipment Rental. If you are in the market for either of those things I highly recommend Blake, ill leave a link below to contact him. If you want more information on the Aquacat Bait Boat I will include a facebook link for them as well. Thanks for watching and tight lines everybody!

I still remember watching a 10' Jon boat below the pier. He was taking out a good size fish to deeper water. It was probably 10pm. I didn't hang around. It was @ PCB. The year was, 1979. Shark fishing has come a long way.

I have the Bluetooth features but I haven’t mastered them yet. Rip from family land based shark fishing has it down to a science, he programs all his routes before and hardly has to drive the boat. Definitely get the Bluetooth feature!

Did you buy directly from the web site? Any issues with paying 50% up front on Veem?

I bought directly from the company, I wired the money since it was international. I had no issues but remember that you are getting a custom made rc boat built in south africa so it doesnt happen real fast.
Is the buoy attachment so if it flips? Or does it help with the flipping? And where can I buy a buoy like the one you have in the video? Love the video man 🍻
Howd you send the boat out night knowing where it was ? Does it have a homing devices

We just got to freeport florida last night. We've fished choctawhatchee Bay and destin harbor during the summer but not the winter. Do you have any tips and tricks for how we should start targeting fish? We'd love to catch anything ourselves really, heard the flounder are good this time of year and we enjoy catching specs and reds.

If you are going to kayak fish I would suggest dropping some fiddler crabs around bridge pilings. You can catch Redfish, Black Drum, and Sheepshead right now doing that. Also there is a lot of action right off the beach in the surf if you want to try some beach action. Good luck !
I'm guessing those large hooks left in there don't kill the sharks? Do they eventually come out or something?
@TheLawlessTide

Florida allows only non stainless steel hooks, they rust out quick.
Hello Clive will be shipping mine in the next batch. Been a 5 month wait, cant wait. Can you comment on what batteries you are using 16Kmah, brand etc and charger. I was looking at a few brands and I am aware some will not fit. Thanks for any info on the batteries! Matt in Texas.

@@TheLawlessTide Oh heck no. He sent me a list i guess i was curious what mah you are using and if you wish you went higher or if your mah selection is sufficient. We will be running 4-6 baits ~ 200 yards or so. We also have a gannet coming to add to the craziness. Just trying to get an idea how many baits we can run. Those batts aren't cheap.
Would you recommend this over a drone? I’m debating on the Aquacat or a drone gannet

Sorry, I just now saw this comment. I use what is commonly called a sand anchor. It’s a group of 6-10 medium gage wires twisted together with usually a 4-8 weight attached. The wires are shaped into a claw shape about 10-12 inches around.
