Love this. Wondering if you could wrap a tumbler in htv🤔 probably not, I always think about it but I don’t want to ruin a tumbler. I have this beautifulllll seafoam glitter htv and I want to use it on a tumbler so bad because I feel I will never achieve the same color with glitter

On metallic vinyl yes 😊

If you stick one of those signature type post its on the inside of the cup, where you drew your line to line up the face, it'll stick out a little and remind you to use that spot to line it up. :)

Hi Jessica, thanks so much for the tuts, love them all! Am curious why the offset is not saved as SVG from inkscape? Saves a few steps in design space. I use illustrator and can import a layered graphic with offset SVG in one step, but have to make them compound paths for it to work. Would you like me to check out doing the offset process for you in inkscape that may save a few steps?

Thanks! I'm just trying to show how you'd apply glitter HTV to a tumbler. you could use any vinyl. for this design. I've had a few designs in the past where i needed to apply a small design element with glitter and using glittered htv came in really handy. glittered adhesive vinyl tends to bleed under epoxy

Yes, I coat it in quick coat from counter culture diy or polycrylic gloss from minwas. you can also spray seal it like you would glitter but be careful and shake your can really well and do nice even coats.

I love your tutorials! Question.. have you ever applied with heat HTV to perm vinyl? Would it stick the same way?

You risk melting the permanent vinyl underneath because you have to get the htv so hot to bond so probably not

@@franklinfrenzzy2951 i gotchya... I've only every applied glittered HTV to tumblers so I'm not sure about the smooth stuff. I could imagine it would show every imperfection. Maybe try using one of those tiny hand irons?? Not sure how you're applying it now
