What glue do you use for gluing the display to the watch?

can replace only glass? i mean that can you re-use touch connector which you separated? because i saw selling glass only.

¿Did the glue Waterproof the watch? (i recently broke the glass on mi watch) glue "paste" fine the pieces?

What happens if you don’t solder that cable back together? I noticed that you tested and turned it on and it worked before you soldered that. Will it still work? If not, How did you test it with it being soldered?

So, I followed the directions which are very good I must say. I removed old cracked digitizer from lcd display. Then actually plugged in the lcd after it was cleaned and the apple logo popped up and everything. So I take it off put it aside and grab the brand new digitizer and connected it two the LCD display which I just tested with it worked. I put two faced tape, Which I had used for many tablet and phone repairs, on the perimeter of the watch where the screen was going to get sucked into. Snapped the two connectors on put the metal piece back on over the connectors. And follow the rest of the directions. But after I was done I put it on the charger and get half an apple loading on my screen. I don’t know if I manhandled the LCD too much or put too much heat on it when removing it from the digitizer? Any suggestions?

axel boudignon yes. Instead of using the adhesive film(oca sheet) and the machine, u can use 'loca glue' and a cheap uv torch.

Great video, thank you! By following your instructions I managed to do the repair but unfortunately the glass I received did not contain the firmware data so it did not work. Fortunately I did not glue it to the LCD, so I still have some chances. Do you know any suppliers (ebay/amazon) that sell digis with data included? Thanks!

Good work, thank you. Why don't you use the original digitizer? Can't you clean the adhesive on the digitizer, and put new screen on it? (just screen glass, without digitizer)

It's just standard oca sheet, just buy it for any phone and cut it to size

Hey hun. Just buy an iCloud locked watch and replace the screens. I baught 5 iCloud watches and 2 out of the 5 had no touch so it is a hit or miss but promise just try again with another. One is bound to work:) don’t bother with doing the digitizer only ok. This is a way easier way:) I do it a lot. And can’t explain why one would have touch and one wouldn’t but try again with another

Don’t do just the screen replacement ok cuz most are not programmed and you need an ibus tool. Just buy an iCloud locked watch on eBay and transfer the screens. It will be a hit or miss rather it will have touch and can’t explain why but I’ve baught 5 iCloud locked watches before and 2 out the 5 had no touch and can’t explain it but just do what I said n there will be hope:)

You could have simply replaced the glass on this one by removing the adhesive and by doing so maintain the original digitizer. Both ways work, but it’s less work by cleaning the original digitizer.

You also removed the force touch sensor at the beginning that runs around the frame under the glass and didn’t put one back in its place. You glued the glass directly to the frame.

Just buy an iCloud locked watch hun and transfer the screens. Do not waste your time on just the glass cuz most are not programmed. They don’t show that part in these videos. It won’t have touch unless programmed. Hope I helped

Jean Joseph if your apple watch break glass but still touch working do not remove touch digitizer from oled of i watch keep it as You could remove glass only then put the new glass

it is the worst instruction.
