I agree the prosecution's case is a disaster but this witness went to diffuse the situation. Why do you accuse him of lying? He was near death after being mortally wounded. The doctor testified that he wouldn't have survived if he didn't get to medical treatment so of course his memory is fuzzy.

The prosecution should have coached this dude better. The Jury doesn't care what his intent was, they weigh the facts of his actions. Despite the chaos of the sitaution, Miu never put his hands on this dude. Martin had no obligation to insert himself in the altercation, but he did so due to his lack of emotional control. He went from a bystander, to participant, to aggressor, to bleeding to death in less than 30 seconds. During his cross examination he should have refrained from elaborating as much as possible. He was far too open with his answers. The defense did a pretty good job of creating ambiguity and doubt with his testimony.

It's obviously a lie AJ told when he said he went up to Nikolai to put his hands on his shoulder to try and convince him to stand down , and step away. The video clearly show AJ placing both of his hands on Niks shoulders from behind, and giving him a good shove. Then Nik turns to him, plunges his knife into AJ's abdomen (this I think was unnecessary, and Nik should've just ran away! Now he's locked up- see where it got him) With the knife buried handle deep in his gut, AJ shoves Nik from the shoulders again this time from the front, and the knife climbs its way up AJs abdomen really cutting him open. I think the lesson is: alcohol and knives don't mix, but my question is: Why do people lie under oath? Why did AJ lie?

I have been in the medical field for along time, that does not look like a stab wound, it looks as if the skin burst open, and other slides showed this AJ shoved this man which by the way recently had open heart surgery, this guy is lying he used words that I'm sure that the prosecutor helped with. He said that this man was messing with a little girl( who happens to be 22 or 23) he pulled her hair and hit her very hard maneuver. These kids seem to have selected memories. Nothing was wrong with that questioning that AJ repeated his self often, but I guess the judge thought that was ok. Something doesn't set right here I think my crew needs to open an investigation on prosecution, judge and these kids.

As in most of the vids by eyewitnesses, the Defence unwittingly brags about the fact that NM had the knife out before he struck "Maddy." It means NM struck Maddy only because he had the knife. This is to say, he struck Maddy only because he knew it would provoke the boys to viokence, and NM thought he'd be justified to kill "in self defence." Quinton's testimony makes clear that NM, all along, had been trying to provoke the boys to violence. Even in an SYG state, NM would have probably been found quilty because of what Quinton pointed out.

@@lindafinch1520 ehhh if you’re a paralegal then you should know asking the same question in other forms to a witness is something that’s used by both prosecution AND defense to make sure the witness understand what they are being asked. It’s an actual tactic commonly used in the court system 😌 If you bothered to watch the trial there were lots of objections by the state in regards to “asked and answered” and some of them were overruled 🤷🏻‍♀️ watch before interjecting yourself into something and asking a question that would have been answered had you actually watched the video you’re commenting on and or the case in itself ☺️ and indeed I know the law 🫶🏼

So he lied about taking a knife from the kids when it was his own knife. He lied about the kids approaching him when it was he who waded across the river to make contact with them. He lied about being assaulted when he threw the first punch, a sucker punch knocking a woman down. He lied about fearing for his life because he had multiple opportunities to leave the area, but stayed. He then lied to police later claiming he had heard someone was stabbed and the suspect looked like him when he knew he had done it. And again he lied when he claimed he feared for his life when he casually tossed the knife away attempting to lose and destroy the evidence (because a person who truly fears for their life does not toss their weapon away while still in the area of the other party). This waste of good oxygen should be locked up forever!

I don't think the evidence supports that he punched, hit or slapped the woman, but he did forcefully contact with her, but at a time when she and the rest of the group were hostile and belligerent. Neither that he could leave. Before the violence broke out, there was no need for flight and after it broke out, he was kept from leaving. I don't think you can call him the aggressor. His actions were certainly odd, but he didn't start calling these teens pedos and robbers and tried to instigate others to join in on the abuse. Other witnesses were in fear for HIS safety. I don't know what the verdict here should be. The whole situation clearly would grant self-defense, but how he used the knife also clearly went too far. But then again it was 13v1 and he was in a very vulnerable position standing in a river. But again, the way he just sliced the others really looks kinda off. But again, it kinda seems like all bets are off when young people bully and mob and elderly man like that.
