Honestly I wish they came out with some alternate Apple Pencil colors. A black, a rose gold, subtle, but noticeable.

I mean now that the iPad 9th Gen has been officially removed, Apple will likely stop producing the 1st Gen Apple Pencil altogether.

They are very well priced in my opinion. Last year when I bought air 5th gen it costed me about 658 USD (electronic items are expensive in my country) that too after some student discount. New iPad Air starts @ 718 USD that’s a really good deal compared to previous gens.

My box is a different design from all of yours. I honestly didn’t realize there were different designs.

Why I can’t use Apple Pencil pro for my iPad :(

Only the box is different; you end up with the same pencil pro and then you throw out the box by recycling it and never to see it again, or think of it, why??)

I really want an ipad and i waited for new ones, but i don’t need it that much. I like new and pricey things and money isn’t a problem. I would use it for my personal use just to do things i do on a phone or watching movies series, tik tok… that tipe of stuff. But im debating to buy it or not. Like it would make me happy but i don’t know. Can someone tell me their opinion not money wise. I waited because bigger screen is always better. I don’t think for that use i need an pro just to have it.

I bought one, but I would advise against it. From a usability point of view it's a WONDERFUL device, but Apple is deliberately forcing you to buy new pencils by redesigning them every iteration. Not only that, but they want to make their batteries disposable. A Wacom Cintiq or a more affordable tablet is probably a better choice.

The Apple pencil overall is still limited to some apps. You cannot use it for every app. I got the apple pencil

@@dreetv, yes and no. You can't use the full capabilities for every app, but you can definitely use it as a touch device in the entire OS.

Anyone knows why I don’t have squeeze option in pencil settings?? My Apple Pencil setting doesn’t look like that…

I thought she’d just return the ones she did not open. Then she proceeded to open them. So. 😮. Return them open I guess. Or do giveaways to subscribers or give them to her friends and family. Who knows.

There are four boxes each with different art. Collectors will pay more for a pencil if the pencil comes with the box. Others collect and keep for the novelty. Just like with first issue or unique sneakers, skateboards, or comics. Some KZreadrs review as a side gig. Some independent of sponsors often buy out of their own pocket. Others might receive sponsorship or just a product request but by reputation give the good the bad and the ugly. --

The apple pencils not being backwards compatible is such a waste. If you want to upgrade your iPad, you have to buy a new pencil despite the old pencil being perfectly fine. Apple could easily make all of the apple pencils work on all devices.
