The new pencil pro is a good idea but the squeeze/pinch for tools doesn't work for Procreate or Adobe Fresco yet and someone others apps. Apps made more for ios needs to get it together.

how long can a fully charged pencil last before running out? I'd like to know your actual experience with this as opposed to to Apple specs. THANKS YOU IN ADVANCE.

From my experience with the regular apple pencil 2 and writing constantly for my studies, it basically never runs out of battery because it’s always charging whenever I’m not using it because I always place it on the magnetic charging spot on the ipad. I never worry about the battery at all, so I am guessing it’s probably the same for the pencil pro.

Why are we so excited that the gesture can run a shortcut exactly?

No. This mind blowing to see how Microsoft pen is so vastly superior since years to Apple. Microsoft has an action button (different per app) and the eraser is also a button with 3 customizable shortcuts. And it has been the case for years.

2024 and Apple stylus at last get a ...button. Maybe in 10 years we will have an eraser? Who knows? It will be the pen ULTRA !

Yes. So will keep it for choosing basic function like taking quick notes...what is crazy is that you still do not have a button that make different thing per app. That is mind blowing how Microsoft got it right SO MANY years before Apple and still to these days...

I still think the biggest downside to the apple pencil is that swipe gestures doesnt work while using the pencil.

I wanted to inform myself, but I found an apple kiddy brainfarting.... "It looks like an eraser" no - it is a damn circle. Mindblowing that you see an actual eraser while erasing on samsung for years lol I was hoping they removed the annoying double tap and replaced it with press and hold for erasing but no they fucked up the settings completely and ppl celebrate it. Go buy ipads or do kickdown into apple stores😂
