Using Notes makes so much sense. It is simple but powerful enough for 90% of the people. Well integrated on all my devices and free, which means one less subscription service. That’s always a good thing 😅

Tbh, I switched to Apple Pages and love it. By turning off document body, it is essentially Apple Notes but I can add playable KZread videos and add a Table of Contents for easy jumping around longer notes. I can also zoom out and see a whole page, where Apple notes feels squished. If Pages had an easier organization option, I'd never look at another program for notes.

I just made the switch to Apple Notes and this video was super helpful. I was using Craft and I just felt I didn't need something so complicated. Apple Notes fit the bill perfectly for me. Thank you for this video!

There are two features I’d like to see added to Apple Notes: “insert line” (horizontal divider) and the ability to fill cells in a table with a background color.

Great video, Francesco. There is so much that can be done with using Apple Notes that it is so underutilized by many. Your videos, Ali Abdaal and Tiago Forte's videos have been helpful to see how versatile this application is for each iPhone user.

I love Apple Notes. While I use Obsidian for more lengthy writing work, Apple Notes is kind of my everything app/filing cabinet. My spouse and I use it to plan vacations, save documents, and manage projects. I use it to clip articles, save links, and save other little tidbits of information.

Excellent explanation of Apple Notes Francesco. I love the tool for its speed and flexibility. I struggle with using it with other tools, like getting notes quickly into our business group Notion Notes database. Any suggestions? Maybe you have a video that covers this already? There's a lot to like in Apple Notes, but I tend to use it just as a capture tool, using Notability for hand-written notes and Notion for everything else.

Thanks for the Video. I want to use the PARA method for my notes and did not find my usual tool, Onenote, would work. I am in a Windows environment, so giving the icloud web browser a chance. I use my ipad mini to take notes daily. Hoping for more features in the web version and more linking with Reminders for tasks in the future.

@keepproductive using your archive (para method) as a smart folder is that been tried by you? What I mean is make #Archive and every time you use this tag it automatically ends up in the (smart) Archive map what are the pro’s and cons? Looking forward to a response.

The only thing Apple Notes needs to really be good is to be 90% more like Evernote. I'm optimistic about that. Who knows, maybe in iOS 37, on the iPhone 35 we will have this long-awaited update to Apple Notes.

Hello Bro, Have a question. In Apple notes, how can we "FIND & REPLACE ALL a TEXT" . The option is only available for "Find and replace text" each separately with multiple clicks. But unable to find how can i do a FIND text & REPLACE ALL in one click. Feels very time consuming when i had to replace a text at 100 different places in a document, as no "REPLACE ALL" available. Please do share your thoughts on this, how can we REPLACE ALL working with texts. Thanks !

Samsung Notes is my go to, I'm looking forward to find a modified Apple Note Fork for Android so that I can get that experience.

This plus your interview with the Evernote product manager has gotten me thinking that now may be the time to switch to Apple Notes. I don't need all the whiz-bang stuff of an Obsidian. But I don't relish the idea that someday Evernote finally will crash and burn. I don't know what other note-taking app will crash and burn either. Something tells me Apple Notes will be around for a while.

I just wish they had an Apple Watch app.

It's crazy that when I create a Smart Folder I am unable to create a filter that simply searches the notes' text for a string. Like, include any note that contains the word, "whatever".

Would be great if I could sort the information in tables.

Really wished for apple notes to be available for other platforms such as Android.

I couldn't find an Android app that's even 90% same as Apple Notes but it's safe to say that Samsung Notes provides the best experience in Android smartphones, especially Galaxy phones and Tabs.

Once you created a note with photos you can’t modify the size of the photos in the note. That’s a nogo for me

@@notjxdxn it means that this is no app for me because the notes are too long to print with such big photos. I only use Notes to take quick notes without photos. I have no such problems with Evernote, my main note taking app.
