Don't know why am I watching, NOW!🙂 Few months back, when I was about to join medical college for MBBS, I used to watch ipad and good notes videos. I literally was imagining how will I set up my first ipad.....I will make notes on good notes, use notion, good notes vs notability, how will my ipad's home screen look, so on..... I thought I will convince my parents to have one (As I cleared one of the toughest competitive exam ie NEET), but sadly we couldn't afford that😢 It's okay dude, life isn't that easy for everyone 🙂 Hope after 4.5 year when I would be doing intern in medical hospital, I would get some stipend and would help my parents to purchase that. I am not writing this for sympathy - My Parents have done their best to upbring me. They are the best 😊 - This is written for the motivation and Spark to accomplish my dream All the best guys and Thanks for the tutorial 🙏

Great app. Cant wait to test it out. I personally will be switching from my 2015 MacBook Air to the biggest iPad Pro M4 1tb 2024. I actually rented the latest iPad and tired it with the logitech keyboard that I borrowed from my friend and personally I like the fact that the iPadOS got so good over the past couple of years and I'm glad that next monday I'll be getting my iPad and that I won't have to use a extra graphics tablets for doing my art stuff. However, I'll be a bit limited on the new iPad Pro since Logitech didn't release a keyboard/case combo yet and the Apple stock keyboards are garbage in my opinion- I have a small question about this app though, since I don't have the normal ipad anymore and I can't test it on my iPhone or Android phones. Is it possible to save the notes on a external device? I have like a compact flash card which I encrypted and could use with a adapter on my rental iPad and also MacOS but I would like to have an option to save the goodnotes file on it. Especially some sensitive stuff like the True Crime based book and some fictional ones I'm writing and don't want to be leaked to the public if someone manages to bypass my Apple account's 3 factor authentication security.

For the lasso tool you have to encircle the text and then tap and hold on the boundary of the circle

Hello, one thing I’m curious about is whether you can pretype your own handwriting so it’s pretty? I have seen it somewhere and really want to know if there is such an option in goodnotes, thanks

You had to circle it and then lift your pen and then tap and hold on the circle again to trigger lasso tool provided that you have enabled circle to lasso under pen settings

Do I need to buy the subscription to get all the options?

Hi can you use this app on any ipad or just for this particular ipad.. how about 10th gen.

I did not watch the video but made this comment. I have both in my android tablet and iPad. I hope coming updates include tagging and linking capabilities like some journal apps.

hi , thanks for your video have you ever tried to insert a multi-page pdf by drag and drop, unfortunately it still does not work furthermore try e.g. to insert a pdf that is e.g. A3 into your note, because goodnotes goes crazy

I purchased a digital planner PDF file but now I have no idea what to do with it. I can open it but really can't do anything like type in an appointment or a note or recipe etc. New to this. Are you just supposed to print these out and hand write on them? It looks like I should be able to import to goodnotes or Samsung notes etc and be able to enter data directly into the areas but that isn't what I'm getting. It is showing me edit tools to change the template but nothing for actually using the journal. Newbie needs help.

9:16 all u do is draw a circle and then u need to lift the pen off the screen, when u hold the edge of the circle again it should go lasso 😊

Hi Janice! Around 12:19 in the video you mention another video showing how to add planners/pages/stickers that are purchased on marketplace and how to integrate them into your documents.. I am having trouble with this particularly as I bought 2 digital planners and can't seem to locate where they are downloaded specifically to add a page from it as i please. So if perhaps you can put the link in your bio or where we can view that information! Thank you!

Hi! Any planners you've purchased on Marketplace should automatically be added to your Documents in your Goodnotes Library. Stickers should automatically be in your Elements collections as well. If you still haven't found them, go back to the listing on the Marketplace and tap "Get" to restore the download :) The other video I was referring to is mainly for planners purchased outside of Marketplace - kzread.info/dash/bejne/eoqttMmJnMe0qdo.html I hope this helps!

You can copy it and paste it into an another notebook

When i use the keyboard on goodnotes 6 the text goes on bottom right and is upright down, like flipped completely, if anyone knows how to fix it, please Edit: I had rotated the page by mistake 🦆, fixed now

I'm having trouble with setting up my digital planner. I noticed you had a red data button on the top right corner of your goodnotes6 page. I do not have that and can't find how to get it. I'm assuming that is my issue. Can you help?

Do you mean Read Only mode? In Goodnotes 6, it’s in the center and it looks like the pen icon. When you tap on it, the blue toolbar disappears and you’ll be able to use the hyperlinks within the PDF. 😊

@@GoodMondaysPaper no, I think it is like a data connection button. Its red on the top right. I think it has to do with the planner and good notes connection. I took a screenshot but i can't upload it here

Good app but hardly usable on iPad mini due to 3 levels of bars on top which you can’t hide

If you want to use the circle for lasso, you can just scribble around the Objekt you would want to move ant THEN the wonky circle of yours
