It's always hard having difficult neighbours :( mice are definitely a no for me!! There really is a lot of mice in Halifax because of so many old buildings. Great video and tips though!! :)

You are very true, i tried to find an apartment in kijiji, and only very few offer, and these owner may have too much ppl asking them so no reply. So before moving to Halifax better to find an apartment first.

@xiaop chen yes, they are. But in Halifax there almost no modern high condos. I know only one in downtown.

@xiaop chen that’s why almost all families have cats😂 There are pest control companies that dealing with this. And some are just leaving with this.😭you will also see mice/rats traps around the city.

@xiaop chen you are entering the totally empty apartment. But you can ask the landlord if the building had any issues before. And check or ask if there any possible way the mice get in.

Is very common people putting high music? I know living in a apartment like that you can constantly listen neighbors but apart from that, are they very noisy or doing parties etc?
My family and I are new immigrants looking for a house close to the center in Halifax and from all services and the price is cheap. Please help us in this matter if possible. Thank you very much

Hi Andrew, it really depends on your interest, if you have kids etc. I’m downtown person, I like when everything is close to me, and be in the center of events. A lot of people choosing the area based on rating of school for kids. I like also Bedford, it has modern buildings and close to basin. Clayton park is a bit boring and more residential.
