You WILL GET NO FAMILY DOCTOR - don’t come ! For your own sakes ! Please . Non Canadian and leaving asap and it’s been too long. 10 years = still NO DOCTOR ! .0/10 for Nova Scotia and 4/10 locals . Not as friendly as they make it ( ads for tourists ) very much an island mentality and a place only to be if you are an elder and in very very good health . Leave them be here if you aren’t in good health . The hospitals are not good or even acceptable . Would run to the plane to leave if we could so no bs of “ don’t let door hit us in the butt ….” Old boring , and typical , overused ‘joke ‘ it’s a tired province . It will suck the life from you .

Nova Scotia has the best health care, better than America. You don't have to pay for it. Nova Scotia is actually looking for a tun of new people for jobs, so there are actually good job opportunities. And just cause it's far doesn't mean it's not a good place to go. There is a tun of different things to explore in Nova Scotia, there are sights to see and things to do. And for the weather that's the fun of Nova Scotia, people who have just hot weather I'd say is boring and awful. Being able to expirence the different weather's are awesome even if they maybe scary, weather can be beautiful. And for the flight connections it does take a while but most people are just doing it wrong.
nova Scotia is not that bad. I’m right here and I’m doing just fine. It’s really not that boring. We have a lot of stuff to do here and the healthcare is not bad. It’s free opportunities for jobs are not a problem. You can get a job very easy here so maybe instead of, telling people not to move here just don’t move here

Her perspectives of course. I absolutely love where I moved to from another province. And now one of my offspring and their partner have moved here. What we have available here was not anywhere else. More space, more peace and quiet, at less cost; with perfect weather for our needs. Great employment, volunteer opportunities and supports. The ‘healthcare’ system sucks everywhere right now. I don’t rely on it. I know a lot about wholistic health and continue to research and learn, not handing power over to big pharma owned systems. Every part of NS is different, as is everywhere. Very diverse. You need to do your own research and look at the many facets, as I did first.

We are actually very connected to the world. Halifax is one of the closest city’s to Europe in North America. We are 1 he flight from New York and Montreal and our city’s are incredibly clean and safe and our healthcare isn’t that bad. Trust me I’m transgender I know what bad healthcare looks like.
