Just watched this and have to say it is one of the most heart wrenching, amazing, dramatic, films I have ever seen. Alan Cummings deserved an Oscar for this role. Everyone should watch this.

Absolutely cannot get this movie out of my head because it was so fantastic! I cried like a baby because you can just feel the emotion. One of my favorite movies now :,)

Best 90 minutes duration ever... This movie is superb, unlike any other gay themed movies... This movie truly demonstrates the strong bonding between a gay parents and a child... even if they aren't his biological fathers... But it's never easy to make changes, especially when it's about sexuality, when all we do is to love someone the gender as us, and the next thing we notice is we are being seen as abnormal from the others. Yet in this case, a pure beautiful innocent child has to be the victim just because of the meaningless hatred.

Sweetest movie you'll ever see. The comedy, drama and heartache are all well balanced; and no scene seems out of place. I wish this was more renown. The acting is well done from everyone, and it shows love parents will hold for a child at its finest. You'll probably smile, if not laugh, bite your tongue, and cry. That's all I'll say. I don't want to spoil it.

If I've cried with the trailer... with the movie i think i'll make an ocean! lol

My teacher played this movie at school today and I cried a lot. This was so touching and shocking. I definitely watch it again. Sooo Amazing!!

watched this film last night and all i can say ia wow!! such passionate, determination went into the feeling of this film. I work with people with disabilities and have siblings with disabilities aswell and i wouldn't give it up for the world. I'm also gay and would love to adopt a kid with disabilities, its one of my goals in life to make people less fortunate to have value, love, warmth and just someone there to support them and make sure they get the best possible life they can have. Such a moving film and although I've only just watched this movie it already means so much to me. Loved it! and i literary cried throughout this movie 💞

Just saw this movie yesterday, made me smile, laugh and cry, great great movie, with great actors ! Loved it

its so sad its taken over 2 years for this movie to "finally" be shown in Australian cinemas

This movie is so underrated it's ridiculous I've never seen such a movie that was so perfectly made and by perfect I made all the imperfections made it that much more beautiful. It was real, the acting was AMAZING and I cried during the court room scene and at the end I can't stop thinking about this movie that is what films are suppose to do leave you thinking about it months after. If you havent watched this and are thinking about it, ignore the nay sayers and the views (which say NOTHING about the movie) and watch it, you won't regret it, theres a lesson in it for everyone.

I cry everytime I watch the trailer

When i watched the film last year, it had this 40 year old man in bits, I cried so much, amazing film though.

If I cried just watching the trailer, I'm gonna be bawling when I watch the whole movie

Honestly Alan Cumming is 1 of my favourite actor. He is full of compassion

PS: This flick just shows what a brilliant actor Alan Cumming really is, I wish he did more films like this one, where he can REALLY SHOW HIS FREAKING TALENT. I hope he does in the future.

if a movies makes me feels multiple emotions throughout like anger, happiness, sadness.... thats how i know that its a great movie, and this one made me feel all that and then some

I randomly found this movie while i was passing the channels in tv and i was amazed by the performance of Alan Cumming. This movie is a masterpiece and unfortunately few people will get to see it.

Watched this movie ten years ago. I still consider it one my favourite films. So many emotions, so little time.

I watched this movie today and i cried my heart out. I really hated those ppl who judged Rudy and Paul just by their sexual orientation but not their caring hearts to Marco. It is a sad story and also reveals the truth that how ignorant some ppl are.

Garrett Dillahunt has become one of my favorite actors! He has so much range! Played a psycotic killer, rapist in"The Last House on The Left", a dim-witted robber in Assassination of Jesse James, he's now in Raising Hope, which is a very comidical role for him, and he's been in many more films and TV shows that were great.

I'm pretty sure that this is THE BEST MOVIE I've ever seen...A MUST SEE!! I saw it over a week ago and still think about it.. Beautiful Cast, Beautiful Film!! :-)

At the end of the movie, when the people who got in the way of the adoption were reading their individual letters, I kept thinking " I hope it hurts to know you could have made a difference in that little boy's life. I hope it becomes a painful lifelong regret."

Oh, wow, that sounds amazing. Unfortunately, I'm stuck way over on the east coast in West Virginia. I see it comes out April 26th or so on blu-ray and DVD, so I'm really hoping Redbox gets it. I will sign up again for Netflix for a month JUST to see this movie.
