This film is a work of genius. So touching, so tender, so moving. The ending killed me but it's a must-see. Alan Cumming is world-class.

Could barely even breathe I was crying so hard at this point. Especially when the guy reads the letter. Alan Cumming was AMAZING in this movie. There's nothing he can't do.

This movie surprised me actually, wasn't as open to it as I should have been at the beginning but really enjoyed by the end and this was a fantastic cover to finish. First saw Alan in the Good Wife, great actor!

This film is very special. Rather importantly it shines a light on the stupidity and selfishness of those who oppose same-sex parenting, cloaking their prejudices as consideration for the children, children, incidentally, abandoned by STRAIGHT parents.

It's a great movie and so real. I believe it is still happening in some countries nowadays. (Spoiler**) The ending gave me a major impact, as it really makes you think is prejudice really worth the value of a fine life? I like how at the end everyone of those judges and teachers receives the newspaper cutout!!! People should really see what's happening and start to stand in other people's shoes instead of acting through their fear of the unknown.

Yes, but bette midler’s is the best version. Barry manilow arranged it similarly to this and got the divine miss m to expose her vulnerability and emotional power.

I think it was great i did think of why they didnt have a scene in where they found marco or when paul found out but then again i thought it would be heart breaking and a heart breaking scene.

Haven't seen the film but a lesbian couple I know in Michigan while before a judge to adopt their 5th child were told by him that none of those adoptions was legal bc they were a lesbian couple. Got scary for awhile afraid they'd lose their kids. They didn't and they were able to adopt the new baby and later one more. Wonderful professional gals. A big happy family.
