This man and his team should get a Nobel Peace prize for the amount of medical education they put out for free

True
I swear we have a lot of professors and professors and many who hold high academic degrees, but not everyone who holds a degree becomes a teacher in my opinion. Those who are able to simplify and communicate information are the ones who deserve to be appreciated and called professors, not those who hold a degree without being able to communicate ideas as well. Do, may God bless you, and we are always waiting for everything new from you. All the love from Syria❤
Protect this man at all cost! Cant thank you enough for simplifing such a complex topic, once again! Long live Professor Zach Murphy!
I Apreciate your tremendous effort to do these classes. I can say your class is much better than many professors!
We admire you from india. Iam a resident in internal medicine . To know any concept i will watch ninja nerd channel then i go to text books. Really we are very much in debt to you for this wonderful teaching. You have world wide fans sir
I don’t think I’ll ever come across anyone that can teach like you, U take a person from stupid to genius. Thank you.
Someone give this man a crown. He's a king!
You are literally the substitute of my real pharmacology teacher
Thank you so much!! This pharmacology series is the greatest of all time no doubt
Zac and the team... what the heck did I just watch? This was EXACTLY the lecture on antiplatelets, anticoags and thrombolytics I needed. I was always confused on why we give P2Y12 and ASA for MI and not Heparin, ASA and P2Y12 for stroke ect ect but this just made it so clear. Then you give reversal agents, drug monitoring and case examples just to remind us that you're not just a channel for pre-med but for clinical med students too. Love it so much and so happy with how far you guys have come.
Huge gratitude from AZerbaijan. I don't know how I would be able to study medicine without your help.
Zach your videos have been so incredibly helpful. My 62 Y/O wife has had Lupus since 1985. In 2015 her mitral valve was replaced due to Lippmann Sacks, in 2020 she had a massive DVT, and in October a subdural hematoma followed by bilateral PE’s, followed by an even bigger subdural. Your videos really made a difference. Whether Hematology (Platelets) or Brain anatomy. I seem to always find one of your videos that make it more understandable.
This man (and the entire team) is a GOD-sent.
this huge, beautiful video about the anti-coagulants is beyond comprehension, how you get the patience and persistence to make these marvelous medical science videos that benefits folks all over the world in medicine and paramedical /nursing etc. ? , thumbs up to all involved and take care and thanks again,
Dear Professor, you're AMAZING....We all love you man.
i have a pharmacology test on monday about this, i cannot thank u enough, i feel like u read my mind haha
This video came out in just the right time for me thank god.
Pharmacist Intern here 🤘🏽 and I approve of this video 😎 especially all of the drugs listed and the MOA. Drugs is our specialty

@@kxcreative6064 I have heard of and understand all of them…although, our hospital (like most Healthcare Facilities) only keeps a selected number/type in stock. Most hospitals have a formulary of medications that are stocked and used on a regular basis.
i fell asleep and woke up to this
I'm lucky to have you. I love your teaching. God bless you
Went straight to this video, came out at the perfect time for me !
You and dr najeeb are my saviors in med school.....thank you so much for doing this ❤❤
Wonderful to see u Zack. Your ability to impart knowledge is Magic. Your art is your beauty and your beauty is your art 😊 Master Diagramming
Great content. One thing to remember, inpatient treatment of a confirmed clot (DVT/PE) requires heparin (or LMWH) combined with warfarin for a minimum of 5 days and INR >2 for 24 hours to prevent rebound clotting. Warfarin’s half life requires a much longer time combined with LMWH/Heparin to provide full anticoagulation. For DVT/PE prophylaxis, the overlap can be less.
@qman1131

Would you ever use tPA for a DVT/PE? I only hear about tPA for ischemic stroke events, but couldn't it help with DVT/PE as well?
@LilFella67
Жыл бұрын
@@qman1131 Zach talked about using tPA infused directly onto the clot. We employ this option at work. Typically, it’s a low dose infusion directly onto the clot as the location is identified with radiology. That’s for DVT. We don’t use it with PE. Obviously, it’s a lot harder to feed the catheter to the clot location in the lung.
You king, thank you for all you've done for me chief !
I have watched this video now 3 times in my ECMO training. You have the ability to make it all very simple for me to understand. Oh, I wish the Ninja Nerd: Doctpr Classic came in a white. Bought my brother one already.
Thank you for your hard work! I am definitely a visual learner so really appreciate this form of education which is even for free. You're doing a great job with each video. Greetings from Germany
Wow i finally finished the vedio! Its not about marks anymore, its about learning new stuff everytime, huge thx to zach and the crew
Long live zach.. You help me a lot. Cant say anything more than thankyou. God bless you.

You were such a good teacher that I got all but one of the questions right at the end, [and that was the one where you said two choices, one was better in that case]. So I did pretty good and I'm not a medical student. I'm just a mechanical engineer type who loves this stuff.
Don't compare with another, Ninja nerd is the best lec
The effort you are providing to teach us is incredible. Thank you so much sir Zach Murphy
A walking work of art 🎨. Thank you sir ❤ .
Sir we are from India no one give good content in general pathology neoplasia and all pls take general pathology also sir in your style ☺️
This guy must be from another planet .Hats off. Salute 🫡 .no words can define your efforts 👌.
I appreciate you my bro from Ethiopia
**hello zach in this lecture at 36:37 you have mentioned that gamma glutamyl transferase make proteins functional that are factor 2, 7, 9, 10, protein c and s but in another video of you on warfarin you have mentioned that it is gamma glutamyl carboxylase that make these proteins functional, the book I am studying for pharmacology is katzung and in that the enzyme mentioned for making the proteins functional is gamma glutamyl carboxylase not the transferase. So, I think it is a mistake.
Thank you Prof. Zack Murphy, your video does help me alot. Not, only this one but all of your videos. I'm with you all the way from Papua New Guinea 🇵🇬. Please, do more videos to help us understand more. Your biggest fan.
Ninja is Don of medicine.
Keep up bro, your lectures are the BEST out there!
I love this channel. I found it this semester, my last semester of nursing school, and it’s so hopefully! I took anatomy several years ago & these videos are great at helping me remember things I thought I forgot. Zach, is an excellent teacher and it’s great to learn from someone who is excited about teaching, as it shows in his lectures. Please consider a way that students, grads, etc. can contribute to your channel to help it and your website grow. I refer classmates to your channel weekly and it’s so appreciated! ❤️
You deserve the best
I wish you released these videos when I was in med school, but I am making the best of them even now.
Thank you, Amazing work!!

He is the best 💯💯💯
Thanks a lot for your effort to share your knowledge with us
You're the best!
Thanku so much my beloved teacher you have helped me a lot....
Absolutely fabulous content and gripping presentation! If only every teacher could grab people's attention this well! Oh, but the ads! I was getting bombarded by 2 long ads every 5 minutes. There are also 1-2 ads to watch every time you jump back or forth to watch a particular section again. The excessive ads really destroy concentration, which is the opposite of what you want to (and do) achieve. They made me so mad, I just wanted to swat them out of the way like flies. After this, l will never, ever, ever order Lieferando! Your videos are great! Surely, there must be a less intrusive way to monetize?
I agree with you 100%! Thank you very much for posting this video. I hope this topic will touch many hearts and help all to practice your suggestions and lessen their hardships and sufferings. Thank you again. ❤
Wheew!!! You're the goat Prof. Much awe and respect🥰
Fantastic information and so easy to understand! Thank you for taking the time to teach us!
The coolest explanation ever thanks for making me pro...and and wait...I'm not gonna get screwed up from my teacher. ❤
These videos have been saving my life while in school! I absolutely love the content and find it easy to follow and so helpful in understanding difficult topics!

Awesome. I've learnt deeply all of knowdledge in this video. It make me clearly understand about antiplete, anticoagulation and thrombolytic mechanism. Thanks for a lot!
Thank you for what you do! You have given answers to many questions I have about my condition. I have watched many of your videos.
Thank youuu from Russia ❤️❤️❤️
thank you so much for connecting all the knowledge........ from physiology to clinical importance! Much appreciated!
oh. ninja nerd best of the best in the world. thank you very much for tish best lecture👍👍👍😁
i will always remain a ninja nerd supporter. my number one tutor🤩😇
Thanks Prof Zach for the beautiful and simplified lecture as always !! I would like to add 1. platelet transfusion is inefficient to reverse the effect of Ticagrelor, because circulating ticagrelor and its metabolite are likely to inhibit the fresh platelets. 2. Bentracimab is an antidote to Ticagrelor, it is still under trials though. It binds ticagrelor and its active metabolite with high affinity and specificity. 3. Apixaban clearance is less dependent on renal function(only 25%) compared to other DOACs and it is approved even in ESRD with reduced doses.
I've been here since high school and you've helped me alot
Thanks a lot for your hard work Your explanations are awesome Can you please cover Tuberculosis next week.
Amazing work, job well done!

Hi! Could you do a vid on lower limb amputation, or just amputation at some point? Maybe some possible causes, different types, functionalities of each, and recovery or something? Please and thank you :)
It took so much time to digest! however it is the best lecture for anticoagulation
Great work man
Very helpful. Thank you.
I really appreciate your hard work 💕
Another excellent lecture. Thank you For the activation of vitamin k dependent enzymes, I suppose you wanted to say gamma glutamyl carboxylate rather than gamma glutamyl transferase
Incredible teacher
THANKS Dr. Finally getting the real eXplanation Of my PE I LOVE UOU NOW BY ADMINISTRATION

Among the antoplatelet drugs the commonly used drugs are Aspirin , Clopidogrel etc. Anticoagulants include rivaroxaban , abigatran and edoxaban . While prescibing these drugs proper education of patient is extremeny important.
thank you so much for these unique videos
