Would be rooting for Yarde. He is a cool guy. Would be cool to see a new face emerged as a champion in the division. Many will favor Beterbiev, i understand that but Yarde is game here. He has the mental game at least in check. Very good mentality compared to others, he has his head on his shoulders and at the right place. Hopefully he can pull this off. Go Yarde

Yarde seems a really nice guy, but I'm afraid that Beterbiev either knocks him out or stops him. I cannot see any other result.

Betterbev is formidable. Like him alot. However i liked it when he (Yard) said "I don't fear no man on this earth.. " That's how it's supposed to be... He looked like he meant it. It will be a ferocious fight. If Callum Johnson can drop Artur, Yarde can do that and more..

Rooting for Yarde!You can do this and would love to see the post fight press conference of Yarde and Tunde if he becomes champion!It would be awesome! I respect Yarde and his team for taking these risks unlike so many other fighters that sit on the sidelines waiting for champions to get defeated or look suspect before considering them! No risk , no reward!Actions speak louder than words and if Yarde lasts and performs better than Joe Smith, anything can happen!He has more experience and better conditioning now and will pace himself better for 13 rounds possibly!

Yarde had no Amateur career, Beterbiev had a massive one over 300 fights, fought all styles and all the top guys never been stopped. He does EVERYTHING better than Yarde, Beterbiev was hit with a forearm smash against Page Jr. and never went on the canvas against big punching Johnson it was only his glove that touched the canvas. He wasn’t that hurt, recovered extremely quickly and Johnson couldn’t finish him he fought back after the 8 count. I’m telling you Yarde has got NO CHANCE!!!!!

I think if Yarde trims down a little bit to take off some muscle and use his legs to stay mobile and box and move, he could really stand a chance. The issue is if he goes in there so large that he would be slower, be more of a target to get lit up by Beterbiev and pieced up inside in the exchanges. He can't let something like that happen and be as big as he's been. But let's see.

Yarde licks his lips just as much as LL COOL J. I like yarde but he sounds just like Tunde. I can't stand Tunde. Yarde needs to drop Tunde like covid 19 ASAP. I believe Yarde can give Beterviev a decent fight. I agree too much muscle can work against Yarde.

Agreed. I'm a mma guy. I always remember adapt and always look to evolve. Never be too comfortable in what you know. Because their is always someone who knows more, tougher,more skilled, quicker, more smarter with better fight IQ. Adapt and then destroy when opportunity is available. You’ve openly admitted that you have cherry picked your opponents so train hard and best of luck with this fight. You seem to have avenged a loss with Lyndon missed a decent opportunity with Buatsi then drop some levels to fight your last fight. Amazingly you’ve become next in line for Artur who even with he’s age, many levels above your last fighter. Beterbiev and Bivol are both top 5 LHWs of all time, no shame in losing to either.

Yarde is a classy gentleman that has gained additional wisdom over the last few years. Unfortunately, he'll need to be mentally strong against Beterbiev because this boxer in unbeatable. It will be a great learning experience.

People can doubt yarde all they want but the man is a talent he has the ability to win this even tho the cards are stacked against him.

My Computer program says that Beterbiev has a 75% chance of stopping Yarde inside of 6 rounds, Yarde has a 15% chance of stopping Beterbiev but has to be early (within 4 rounds), a 5 % chance the fight goes the distance with a 90% chance that Beterbiev wins a decision. Check it out!

Yeah. That's a huge mistake. Betebiev may have been older but he's far fresher than what Kovalev was back in 2019. Yarde has to prepared to lose years off his career to grab this and I believe it has to come early.

Undefeated black fighters like Jermall who clearly lost to European Kovobov and a well past prime inactive Korobov who hadn't fought anyone with a pulse in four years and had only fought once in over 2 years, a six rounder against a bum who was 2-11 in his last 13, 9 of those losses inside the distance? Like Andrade who hasn't fought a single past, present or future world champion in his entire career of 31 fights? Why on earth would Canelo be scared of facing the likes of Jermall who lost to a way past prime inactive Korobov, has fought trash, went life and death against bum Montiel, and who has only stopped one of his last five opponents even though 4 of them had been stopped before when he fought so many other better or more dangerous fighters? One was a forearm smash against Page Jr in the first round. Beterbiev came out the second round and dropped him 3 times and stopped him. Watch that forearm smash again it was 100% not a punch. Beterbiev did not touch the canvas with his body he put his glove down against Johnson and recovered very quickly. He still went on a mission to win the fight and stopped Johnson later.
