I used to LOVE Anthony Jeselnik. Until one day, he finally said something that I just couldn’t get over because it was just too disturbing and grotesque. He told a joke about 9/11, then after he admitted to dating Amy Schumer. BTW, the 9/11 joke was hilarious.

At Phil Hartman's funeral, the SNL cast were together there, all broken up, trying to make sense of the senseless tragedy. And Mike Myers says something like, "Wait, Brynn shot Phil and then Brynn killed herself?" After repeating it several times in a state of sheer disbelief, Jon Lovitz finally says (something like), "Ah, C'mon, Mike. Your making it sound so much worse than it actually is," which sent everyone into hysterics for about a half hour, according to Meyers. So seemingly tasteless jokes can break the tension for some people right after a tragedy.

And I'm finding it interesting to understand who he is off stage as a human being....he's a sweet intelligent good guy. Which makes his BRUTAL comedy all the more effective and interesting to watch. Glad I finally gave his stuff a chance, I'm really loving all of it.
