Totally agree, but also on the other side, if that is how she feels, then she shouldn't have made a video like this. It's like saying, "hey ask me some questions about my finances, i'll answer them later," and then proceeding to make a 35 minute video where you avoid actually answering any questions and make comments about how people are being nosey and intrusive. It makes no sense. She is in control of the content, so if she didn't want to make a video about uncomfortable questions, then just don't film it.

Cool, THEN DON'T MAKE THE VIDEO. She absolutely doesn't owe us these details, but it is ridiculous to make a personal video and then complain that people are asking personal questions.

Chelsea Duncan hahaha no it was 60 page final project for my science class that I had to do a dissection for. Mine ended up being 56 but our goal was 60. It was that long because there was a lot of outlining, questions, labeling, and conclusions. Wasn’t that bad because a lot of straight up facts were included

Your last point of “we get to” is literally what I live by! I’ve had people in my family that didn’t get the same opportunities I did so I never took them for granted! A teacher in my community unfortunately passed recently due to his cancer but his slogan throughout everything was “we get to” and I constantly remember him and you reminded me of him! omfg it really bothers me that people think theyre entitled to know these personal things just because they watch your videos. i think you had a really sound approach in that you dont believe in a single "right way" i.e. waiting for marriage/not smoking/whatever, but that you support every person's right to choose whats right for them. i think people misinterpreted that as you avoiding it. anyway i never leave comments but i thought you did a really good job at explaining your thoughts

For the love of god, disagreeing with someone is not the same thing as spreading hate. Her channel and career relies on fan involvement. Unsubscribing every single person that has a difference of opinion from her would pretty much destroy her income. She doesn't owe anyone answers but also THIS IS HER CONTENT. She is the one who made the video. If she didn't want a video out there about uncomfortable questions, then she shouldn't have made a video about uncomfortable questions. we need more of you gretchen! you’ve always been so real + genuine. you’ve been my fav youtuber since still living in albany before even getting your first apartment at BU!

You are pretty lucky with your friendships though. Im the kind of person who has all of these great friends from all of these different points in my life but 99% of them are the kind of ppl who never ever respond to texts or answer their phones, or call you back. So even though you know they are your great friend, its pretty impossible to have a fun spontaneous chat. Having friends that are very easy to catch up with is really lucky.

I've only found Gretchen's channel recently. Would anyone mind explaining to me who she is referring to? I know she said if you have been following her channel since the beginning you would know who she is talking about.

I am working towards a business degree and am considering business marketing. I am still not sure if it's better career-wise to specialize in an area or just get a general business degree.
