We joined the 82045 on a momentous day - as the weighshafts of the new locomotive (the only of its class!) were cryogenically fitted to the lifting links. This was a huge step forward for the project and we were thrilled to be there!

Great work chaps...
Been a long time since I had to use cryo and heat to fit two items together. Caused me a few problems, I can tell you, but it was a lesson well learnt.
Any completion date?
Very excited to see her up and running. She’ll be a great addition to the fleet.

Is this a brand new boiler or is it a recovered boiler?
