I'm double his age.... and EVERY time I see a new "performance" by Ren (you can't call it anything else).... I find myself deep in thought, learning, changing my perspective. . (Damn!!) I envy you both being able to observe, learn, and have the opportunity to change your perspective so early in life. . Keep these performances nearby and use them to remind you of the path if you feel yourself wandering.

If you read the Rens cast list. The piano guy was Charlie, Knox had already left before the shot this last video. Knox will have a live interview with Ren and another one with Samuel this weekend. Ren is number 2 in Australia and 1 in NZ on iTunes

This story was really not about Jimmy and his Dad it is about us all.. we are always looking for something more.. we got to watch basically a treasure hunt and subsequent video on a livestream prior to this release that really put this in perspective.. When is enough enough … we place our happiness on what we own as opposed to who we are.. you start to realize that if given the opportunity to grow older.. Ren is truthfully more than we as people understand! Thanks guys.. we missed you!❤🎶❤

Excellent reaction guyz great to see you again. I've been thinking about MG3 and i think its a story about us all as a species and what is wrong with us. We can be better if we listen and act accordingly. It can be better but it has to start with us. Ren is a messenger and we have the messages to help us turn things around ❤❤❤

You were the only people so far that made a connection between JImmy’ dad and the upbringing the dad leading to Jimmy’s path in life . Most reactors just focused on Jimmy and how we similar but you guys also saw that JImmy’s upbringing had an impact . That’s what’s great about REN’s work - there are so many layers .

I have watched a couple that have picked up on it but not many. I'll add this - as misguided as the father was pushing his son, I can't blame him. People that grow up poor do not know any differently. They don't realize until they have money, that money does not provide the happiness they think it does. Now if the father was wealthy, then yes I fault him.

Yes, that's Ren playing piano at the beginning! He also composed the music for piano and strings. He directed the video and produced the music/audio. It was recorded live but it's not quite 1 take. They had to make a single edit, before the water, for obvious reasons. Yet another incredible performance from Ren and overall, an absolute masterpiece... again! :)

Like he said, "This is a version of me, a version of him, a version of she and a version of you." Once you start the money game, it's never enough. That can go with anything. The further you go, without any regard for others, instead of being satisfied. The circle was from the beginning. First words, mine, mine, gimme. 1 year old walking, 2 years old walking quickly... Then you get to 40 cursing the words mine, mine, gimme, 41 not walking, 42 not running quickly. This was another Masterpiece!

Ren reaching #1 on UK charts should make KZread wisen up about the worsening restrictions for music reactors. It’s a big money business for music and has now proven to catapult independent artists to stardom in Ren’s genius collaborative effort between him being an independent artist and supporting reactors which only helped to spread his music to reach new and extremely diverse audiences.

I took it as "Jimmy" grew up with wealth and when I lost his mobility he couldn't cope with having all the fame and wealth but couldn't continue on his path of more more more, because of his father. And ge turned into its worst form. As it starts out with "smarts" but it got converted into darkness and no empathy. "Money is the means to all ends" you did an awesome reaction you keep getting better! Peace out.

Knox was present for day 1 of the shoot, which is up until the camera pans behind the wheelchair. The water scene had to be done on the second day as they only had one shot at it so needed to bank what they already had. Knox was originally supposed to be holding the drinks tray but was changed late on. I believe Knox was too tall or too similar in size to Ren and they wanted Ren to be taller than the person serving the drinks.

His father kept telling him he needs more money to be somebody but it was never really about how much money that makes you a success and a failure. His father taught him to chase the money but neglected to teach his son to be happy. It’s the chase, or the game that’s important, if you stop the chase that’s when your a failure so the son will always feel he’s a failure in his father’s eyes if he stops the game. Taught how to make money but never taught how to enjoy it. We are all governed by money, we need it to live so we’re all stuck in the money game.

25:12 you think that you would have questioned it. But if you were in Jimmy’s shoes, or you were Jimmy, that is. You wouldn’t be you you would be Jimmy. Where are you were instilled with certain values that tell you some things are more important than money he wasn’t, therefore you wouldn’t be. People are not the same at all. We are all very different. Unless of course we come from a family together. Your brother may be more like you. Imagine if you had never been taught the values that you currently hold you would know it’s wrong you just know that money rules all, if you have that you don’t need anything else in the rules step out of your way. Anyways, God bless guys.

Money Game part 3 my thoughts When he put the prop gun to his head my memory flashed back many years past when one of my brothers was in his room holding a real gun to his head, I didn't see that part, my mom did and she slowly and carefully got it away from him and with out turning around she called me over to take it and hide it away. I held that thing in my hand as if it was some venomous snake about to strike, with two fingers on the grip I carried it to mom's room and held my breath as she talked him down. My brother was ill, physically and none of us knowing for sure from what, until the coughing and blood became obvious. He spent two years in hospital in Florida, where we were living at the time, in the tuberculosis ward. The TB he contracted from his father when he visited him. After that visit awhile later our dad was in hospital for TB, none of us knew then that my brother carried that virus, several years later, just percolating away in his lungs. Of course all his family and friends were tested, lucky no one got it, since most had been vaccinated years before. After that ONE time, only one time in my entire life I ever touched a gun, any loaded hand gun. I never went near another one since. I am now 74 years old and hate guns because of the insane way some people use them, either for good or for ill, there is never a reason to own a gun. That is my own personal opinion, others may disagree and spout all kinds of reasons when saying they are safe, and fun or for security. We don't live in the wild west of old, but maybe we still do. I will still never have a firearm in my home, ever! Other than that, the whole story was outstanding! Ren of course outstanding. A quick and condensed life of one man with a father that only cared about money, what about Jimmy? Did his father ever show pride? I don't think so. I know my father never showed pride in any of his 6 children.

  • @iamlpinthe312

As the world spins and is turning upside down so too is Jimmy’s world, not because losing his father is losing HIS FATHER ( best friend/ role model his “Daddy), but because he knows that he is out of chances for that approval, that “ I’m proud of you son”) And let’s be honest, at a certain point it’s not about money anymore ( because it’s stupid amounts of money); it’s about power…without boundaries or consequences. Absolute power corrupts absolutely…and it often begins when stupid money is involved. This is Not entirely unlike child actors whose parents depend on THEM for the family income. And so they push their kids ( see the book “ I’m Glad My Mom Is Dead “)

Knox said he was the one standing against the wall but he got switched with the girl so i don't believe he made it into the video.

Aww that sucks! But the experience I’m sure meant the most to him! At least he’s got to hang out with Ren🥲

((Great reaction-as usual)) …I wonder if, “his father”, is society or our political system… It’s just a thought.

I suspect u got the point that Ren was pushing. Other rxERS say the father connection, but didn't emphasize it. U prioritized it which shows the cycle of the money game that I think Ren was highlighting. "The mirror to ourselves" in MG1, and the looking in the mirror in this one
