"Sometimes my building style kind of defeats me." Indeed. LOL! The great part of the game is that you can enjoy whatever 'style' you prefer. I prefer overproducing from the get go and making sure most of my citizens are being productive. Still gonna keep watching, though . . . it's worth it just for the commentary.

I love the way youre building.. its so dynamic and looks way more realistic than building everything in blocks :D

A damaged ship already travels more slowly, so even with the wind, their ships would have caught up to me anyways. I was screwed no matter what I did.

I'm in a binge watching all of this awesome campaign !

At the end you had the cannons but the you built the repair crane and then the ships being repair used up some of the materials after you had started building that ship of the line

Did you figure this out? 40:30 did you actually run out of materials while building that ship... i think once it starts building it subtracts them all and when you kept hovering over it, that was just giving you the required amounts to add another one to the build que so it was saying you didnt have enough to build a 2nd at that time.

I suspect the French accent is to reflect the Caribbean French islands and Colonies, she is from the New World after all :)
