Hi, you got nice contents. Can you make a video about charter routes for the production chains. You know some resources come from new world some from arctic. And the timing of these deliveries disrupts my production facilities most of the time and they are just sitting there not producing anything. Keep up the good work mate.

Basically do not use charter routes to support your major industries across regions. I only use charter routes for islands that are next to each other for one good only that I can ship back and forth quickly with that. Even then a schooner is going to be your better option... It's cheaper and has an item slot that you can put a flag in to make it faster. As far as producing enough to sustain your economy waiting for ships to go back and forth... I always make one to two chains more than what is required so I have at least double the amount being produced. Also just use clippers and cargo ships... Never use schooners or charters for going between regions.

Go into postcard mode and you can see them

why does it say you have 50 workforce for workers, artisans and engineers on your smaller old world island and in ditchwater it says you have 50 available engineers

It's the quantities that you have to have later on... The chain itself is easy and not an issue. You just need so much of it. now granted it has gotten easier since bright harvest since you can power up the farms with tractors and decrease the number of farms you need. there's also some items that really help with reducing coffee consumption now. It's better than it used to be that's for sure.

Ok that makes sense. I haven’t gotten past early investors yet. I keep restarting so I can try a new idea for city layout. I really struggle with the Artisan to Engineer transition for some reason. Love your videos, thanks for making the content for us

@@Ephrahn as @Takarazuka said, the transition from artisan to engineers has to be slow, as Artisans production chain for, including cannery and fur coats will cost time and money and until you don't establish it you shouldn't t make the transition, also all sorts of foundries you will need and glass as well so don't rush it to level artisans until you have a strong base to supply engineers. And you definitely should have New World infrastructure set to max to fulfil their needs. Your steel and foundry production and especially Iron and Coal should be maximized before making the transition as well, meanwhile, electricity should be set already in the city, on top of this as well the game should be offered you already some items for your Trade Unions so make sure you take advantages as well.

Why is it that so many gamers that play games I like DON'T like Coffee. I am not complaining as I can't stand the stuff myself, but it is an interesting thought that many gamers you stream or do YT vids of these sorts of games don't drink it.
