I'm just seeing this, so very late to the party. I have a question--I'm wondering what these historians' takes are on Josephine Tey's book "The Daughter of Time." I really liked her story of how the Tudors waged a propaganda war against the Plantagenets, specifically Richard III, even employing/ordering Shakespeare to write him as a villain.

Im from the US. I visited Hampton Court and was enthralled! I wish they could have presented some of the bedrooms of the Tudor people? I did not see that in my public tour. Yes the years have gone by and the residents changed. Just a thought!

I often wonder why Elizabeth didn't live with Anne of Cleves seeing how Elizabeth was adored by Anne. Did Anne of Cleves even ever visit Elizabeth once she was queen?

This does Anne and Elizabeth both great Justice. Since my finding that both are ancestors of mine thru Anne's sister Mary I feel I'm understanding a great deal of my relatives. To me Anne Bolyne was treated so cruelly and wrong. Henry to me was a womanizer. Though I was born in the states I've always been drawn to the Tudor era

It was Kathryn Howard who was the last queen of England to be executed

She mentions "annointed" and that requires a coronation. She was the only one who actually had a coronation to be annointed and was executed. I think after her... Henry pretty much gave up on crowning his queens. I think Katherine Howard would have been crowned, but only if she produced another son. There were rumours of it at the time. Queen Jane I (Grey) wasn't crowned... so that leaves Anne Boleyn as the only annointed queen of England to be executed.

I think it matters that Henry is in service. His Government applied the pressure to produce a male heir. His ambition to serve that Governance was not the result of delusion. Many kings- like many Popes, did come to a bad end when not compliant to the true power of their times. At least, as i understand it.

I’m sure she will never see this but that lady has issue with her voice or breathing, she should take a look at that
