(Currently living in Japan) red miso is delicious with tofu, green onion, seaweed, etc. Kaizen, Tosin's new guitar with Musicman, is also a Japanese term for 'continuous improvement'...very progressive; much like their music. Great work guys! This piece is outstanding. 😳

I just learned about this phrase myself. This rapper called KAAN (Knowledge Above All Nonsense) released an album called Kaizen, then redid the album using different beats or different lyrics to the same beats. Pretty cool idea. It's like CQI for music.

I've also seen it spelled with an s instead of a z, so kaisen instead of kaizen unless of course that happens to be a different term changed by only one letter LOL; because the term means continuous improvement as you said though it's also why most if not all sushi restaurants from my experience even outside of Japan have an option you can order on their menu called the Kaizen and/or Kaisen Sushi combo... it's a fairly standard set of sushi options but with slightly different skills involved in its crafting process here and there so it's used to demonstrate the continuous improvement of the chefs who are making it and the option for said combo at Tako Sushi And Ramen which is a family run restaurant a few blocks up the street from my parents' house is actually my dad's favourite thing to order on their menu although I don't think he knows the etymology behind the combo's name XD

@Morsk Ode LOL, oops; clearly it was a different word and I assumed that it was them putting their amazing work ethic into a particular style of sushi... maybe it's the case though that I either misread it on their menu though or they were making a play on words although if not someone should because as the other comment I potentially mislead said it is a cool idea to have a standard seafood sushi combo that you can use to test and continously improve all of your techniques XD

Wow the progression of AAL is incredible. I went to music school with Tosin in Atlanta - I was on my last two semesters when he he got there. And he was talented. But nothing special to be honest. For some people music school completely changes them as a player / and obviously school completely transformed him as a player. I never would have gusssed that he would go on to becoming the most influential metal guitarists or the 2010s. And go on to influence guys like Tim Henson Side note- Tosin is also really good at percussion (not so much a drum kit. But hand percussion. And not so surprising - he was also really good at playing slap bass haha which would obviously show in his music with AAL.

The vid is deep. Like they portrait the aspect of the intense work behind their music. Like they give all they got, to the point they are digested by it sort of. To me big monster is like music. So they dive into it with all they got and get pretty much assimilated. But the result it produces like makes the monster fly, meaning like music was kinda elevated in the end of the process, got kinda raise in its level as a result of the dudes giving it all they got. That what it kinda means to me

This band is so intriguing, it's like the only band in the history of Rock music that doesn't need awesome lyrics or a commanding vocalist to blow your minds. Abasi is so damned, he literally takes me straight to the 5th dimension each and every time!

Once again the pure talent is mind melting, but i never come back to any of the new songs anymore.. a one time through is all i can get out of them these days.. I know it must be me, but I remember when CAFO dropped, i just couldnt get enough of it. ah well, what do i know, still some of the best dudes in the biz.. and super nice guys just listened to CAFO again, I am thinking that some of their early stuff just had a lot of simple groove to it, and while i know they have to push themselves to evolve, I miss some of that early groove.
