*Tip!* Well, for me, sharks appear more often a round 4-6 PM. I once fished 3 sharks in less than 5 minutes during that time period! (Spring, Tortimer Island)

If you want to skip the song just press a until the singing guy stops and says how impatient you are and then he will skip the ride and go straight to the island

Oh my gosh, thank you so much!! I've been having some trouble with public works projects (especially the Dream Resort, I really regret my decision in choosing that lol) and this guide is super helpful!

I do the same thing, but I left two trees in the middle. they have a chance to spawn Giant Stags and Rainbow stags, which are both worth 10,000 bells each. there can also be Scarab Beetles, but I forgot how much those are worth

This tip really helps a lot! I made 400,000 bells in one trip. Thanks for sharing this with everyone!

I would also suggest taking all the blue sea shells and put them on the grass so afterwards if you see any on the beach, they must be hermit crabs and you can scare them away cause they can also hinder your spawn rates

just refresh the bug & fish spawn (if you don't know how do save and continue)

I've got four Golden Stags in one go, and since each of them is worth 12 000 bells, then that means four Golden Stags land me 48 000 bells, that's incredible!! And I can get 40 critters (stags, beetles and sharks) before I have to go back to town to empty the box and I can make several trips back and forth and if I enact the Boom Bell ordinance before I start selling them I get an additional 20% when I sell them. And you can cancel an ordinance for free, so I can cancel the Boom Bell ordinance around 6 PM so I can buy the items of the day in the shops before they close without having to pay an additional 20% for them. Using this method we could easily make anywhere from 150k - 500k bells in one trip! Amazing! Thanks AwesomeFaceProd! My mother and sister bought me this game for my birthday this year (along with "Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer" which allows you to do interior design for your clients, "Art Academy: Lessons for everyone" which teach people how to draw and paint, and "Pokemon Art Academy" which teach people how to draw and paint and let them create their own Pokemon trading cards), and I love it, I really love this game (ACNL)!

Just a little note, the Wealthy Town ordinance also makes things you buy more expensive. So I would suggest inacting it for a few days or so, selling loads during that period, then changing it to one of the others later so buy prices return to normal.

With regards to the tree's that are on the beach on the island, do you need to plant any or can you just use the default tree's? (ie the coconut tree's that are already there the first time you go to the island)

@Zombissux, yes, events do happen when you are not on the game. Ie, a villager can move out, there can be events that transpire.

The Agrias butterfly costs pretty well if you have bell boom and suck at catching good beetles, it needs flowers and bushes though.

This works for me though the sharks weren't really there. It was probably because it's fall and they don't spawn as much at this time but it takes some patience and around 20 minutes to an hour but it's fun I would recommend it.

So that's how you get tools out on the island! I knew the native species on the island would be worth a lot, I just had no idea how to collect them.

Tbh I keep the trees in the middle because the giant stag and rainbow stag are really valuable and only spawn on those trees. I just run up to them and clear them when there aren’t any beetles that are worth much

You shouldn't remove all the regular fruit trees from the grassy area, as rainbow stags and giant stags sell for a pretty bell, too. Sure, fruit beetles will spawn as well, but the rainbow stag and giant stag more than makes up for it.

What is the best time to look for them?

On the island, seasons don't matter. It's constantly summer-like weather there, so the bugs spawn all throughout the year.
