honestly tanning is the only way in animal crossing to get my skin color XD I love that happy home designer let you pick what skin tone you have

You can use make up and pick a dark skinned me. That's what I did for a while but the hands were still light so it looked silly.

Sometimes I get kinda pissed, because you can't pick your skin color in the game. Why do all the freaking characters have to be white?

+ Aussie Animation Don't worry, there will always be those people who think it's racist, but I would appreciate if nintendo had skin tones, they could have a variety so at least there would be a few skintones I don't know if you know how it feels but when a large company notices and makes something like that it makes that specific group feel special, noticed.

Peter, you can actually make your chances of getting the public works requests greater by filling your entire inventory with bells and removing everything else. That way the animals don't like request to buy your stuff off of you or swap something with you, etcetera. Love your videos by the way, very informative and amusing and such.

I came back to this 6 years later and with a whole new animal crossing already out but I still have a soft spot for these videos, They still crack me up :)

She looked Spanish :D I am corny and made my boyfriend a character on it too, but he's really tan in person, so I wanted a quick way to do so. Thanks again for all this info. The villager move out works too. I'm still working on getting Flo to move out - she is RIGHT under the bulletin board and it's so cramped... Thanks again!! I love your videos. I tried it in all ways possible and moving the house didn't work. It changed between house and roped area. Without saving at first then with. Anything else I can do?

Your videos are too cute. I also noticed one night when I was too tired to finish catching beetles that I closed my game while the screen said "WHOA!" in the zoomed in catching screen. The next morning I ran out, came back home around 11 and my character had a very noticeable tan and was still standing there holding the Golden Stag lol. So I'm guessing the game still registered that I was playing even though I'd closed it for several hours.

can you use this tanning method at your town beach during tanning season or is it strictly only at the island?

About the villager ping reset: does the game also register your character as off map if you go to the island and back? I know that would mean spending money to get the ping reset, but it might be helpful for those that don't have swimsuits yet if it's possible that way. o:
