Étoile is the cutest. That's just my opinion. Rilla is not super cute so she's my least fave, but she's one of the more "attractive" gorilla villagers so she's pretty high up on my tier lisr.

T O B Y I S M Y B O YYY- I just find his design adorable and I think it conveys the actual character really well even if he’s a bunny! My favorite part is his face! I just find it different and adorable, I still like Marty too though! Toby is just my favorite

Toby (Smug Rabbit inspired by Kerokerokeroppi) 4. Chelsea (Normal Deer inspired by My Melody) 5. Marty (Lazy Cub inspired by Pompompurin) 6. Rilla (Peppy Gorilla inspired by Hello Kitty) Btw if you’re wondering why Rilla isn’t a cat, Toby isn’t a frog, Chelsea isn’t a rabbit, etc, they’re supposed to be cosplayers who got inspired by these franchises

I love Toby, and the cute ones, but Rilla both upsets me and makes me feel guilty. I don't like Rilla enough to kick out villagers I love, and I feel guilty for neglecting that friendly gorilla. Still, I'm not the one who decided "Hardly anyone loves our gorilla villagers because they're not traditionally cute, so let's go ahead and use one for Hello Kitty. That makes total sense." I feel like they wronged both Rilla *and* Hello Kitty, as Rilla would get far less hate if she were not repping the Sanrio character.

Heres my rankings: 1.Chai I love cinnamoroll and I also love the blue on her. Plus..... HER CUP ON HER HEAD!!! God i have a huge bias for pastels 2.Étoile I like the dreamy look to her and her color palette is very pleasing to look at 3.Chelsa She has a sort of thrifty look to her shirt which I love! Also I have a bias for pink and green paired together 4.Marty He is...... SO PRECIOUS god I love him and I love the lazy personality but he is lower ranked because I like the ones that are higher ranked more 5.Toby I don't love his design but he gets this place because his design is better than Rilla's but not the best. 6.Rilla She reminds me of a sanrio donkey kong and i despise donkey kong. Plus she is just really creepy but I don't mind her because like toby she is better looking then some other villagers.

*adjusts glasses* actually.. the snowmen on Toby are teruterubozu, good weather charms made by kids in Japan to have sunny days ♡ I think Toby is my favorite of the villagers, he looks kinda like an anime character from the old anime gegege no kitaro xD

I prefer Tobi as my most liked out of the six

i feel like etoile is totally the most popular sanrio villager instead of marty, have you seen twitter on her? and etoile is my fav too she is definitely coming to my island

I got these cards for new leaf last year and when I scanned them on my switch i was given posters of the characters because they weren’t in the game yet. I thought they’d never add them in because it would be such a missed opportunity! But I’m happy that they’re being added now

Chelsea has a special place in my heart. I’ve found it hard to really get attached to villagers in NH bc of their dead personalities and before I had all the basic popular ones and tbh couldn’t care less about them. But idk what it is about Chelsea, maybe how she’s somehow strange looking but adorable, her gorgeous house and please put the My Melody dress on her it’s just perfection. I kind of like my favourite villager being less popular as well, makes me feel less boring, but honestly she deserves all the love in the world

Etoile is ABSOLUTELY my favorite villager ever created, and i’m SO glad she’s back to make my island just that much cuter! 💖

I can't decide they're all cute and unique Etoille gives me dreamy vibes Chai will be besties w Tia and her design makes me think of the sky Marty looks like a white choco lava cake (don't ask why) Chelsea looks simple yet cute like fauna Rilla brings me back nostalgia as I love hello kitty And Tobi has a cool outfit

My favorite is Etoile,then toby,chai,marty,Rila and Chelsea, I really love little twin stars because I am I twin and our favorite colors are pink and blue I think Cinnamon roll is so cute ,pompurin,Keoreppi,My melody ,and hello kitty,I would've loved to see a brand new villager it this update because the sanrio villagers were available in past games,an octpus would've been great since we have so few,I also dislike that all the girls are normal or peppy would've loved more variation on the personalities,especially sincr I have 3 normals,love that they are fans of the sanrio and not the actual thing gives them personality,the normal personality has the most cute villagers which is unfortunate because You want your island full of dreamies but also want all dIYS and reactions

But how are you going to choose which villagers to get rid of?

I am really excited for the update!

I dislike how they were not the actual Sanrio characters; after watching this video I thought about not getting the amiibo cards, but the furniture is totally worth it!

For me it's 1. Marty 2. Étoile 3. Chalsea 4. Chia 5. Toby 6. Rilla It's honestly hard which sheep I like more (Dom or Étoile) but I think I will have both!! (Planning on getting the Étoile amiibo, I already have Dom on my island and Marty is in my campsite)

Only thing I don't like about Etoille is how the purple and her dark pink skin tone work together. If her skin was a lighter tone, 10/10, right now though 6/10. Marty ftw, we share a birthday :)
