Wow I remember when Animal Crossing New Leaf was amazing and the graphics were so new and polished - and now after playing New Horizons for about a year the graphics feel so much more different 😂😂

They're actually not bad at all when you see the graphics on the 3ds, but when you put it on video it's so pixelated

OK, I've never played New Horizons, but I've recently started New Leaf and... I think NL's graphics are great!

New Leaf was my first Animal Crossing game, I got it about 2 days before going on vacation to the beach. So now anytime I think about New Leaf I can remember sitting out on my hotel balcony every day at like 7 in the morning drinking coffee and playing Animal Crossing while listening to the waves. So freaking nostalgic!

Bruce's house was the lower house on the left. You did not actually check that top left house. You saw Bruce near it and assumed it was his, but when you had the map open just a moment before we saw Bruce's house was lower. Mitzi could still be here, especially since you never got letters!

This was my first animal crossing game, and i filled my entire town with rare flowers

I like new horizons more. Mostly because they changed stuff that I found annoying in new leaf. Like how villagers can't leave unless they ask you, bells are automatically added to your wallet when you pick them up. Stuff like fruit, wasp nest stack.

I should boot up my original Animal Crossing (Gamecube) game to see what sort of post-apocalyptic nightmare world it has become. It's been 20 years since i first played it...

I still play new horizons and new leaf, I love the animal crossing franchise and the 20 villagers I have across both games are definitely my favourite 20 in the series, maybe just add chow and fauna to the list but my sister has them so I didn’t see a need to get them

The sad part isn't that Mitzi left... It's that she left without saying goodbye...

I remember that my old ACNL town had a villager named Molly. My sister deleted my data because she was pissed at me for some reason. I logged on next day and I was devastated. Now that I have some 3rd party amiibos with Molly included and ACNH, I can have my friend again.

THE ACE ATTORNEY REFERENCE!!! Anyway I played a ton of new leaf and it's pretty neat to see your old town peebs.

Mitzi actually moved to my island in New Horizons. And no she did not mention you.

When you go back to the old games feeling excited because you haven’t been in years then your villagers make you feel bad for leaving for so long:

I have "Jacob" in my NH town, but he is called Jakey in my game since it's a PAL version... that confused me for a minute until I looked it up!

8:01 Even not seeing them anymore would still be fine, but the fact that those who moved out in New Horizons don't have memory of the time spent living on your island if you meet them again is so sad! So I prefer the way it is in New Leaf. 12:44 This is one of the things I'd like to see back in New Horizons, more Nintendo furniture!

I think they do have a memory. I’ve gotten villagers from my friends towns who remember me, and the villagers remember my friends

@@hankriseshill1898 If one villager leaves for good the next time you meet them they don't know who you are. Making sure one of your friends gets your leaving villagers is one if not the only way to prevent that.

I still play New Leaf to this day. Nice to see other people playing it too!

Looking back at New Leaf makes me want to see more furniture and stuff brought back in New Horizons.

Goodbye again, Mitzi. You will forever be in our hearts.

I remember Mitzi leaving my City Folk town and younger me was DEVASTATED. I sympathize Peebs.

I loved this video, it basically felt like a let's play mixed with stuff on your main channel. PLEASE MAKE MORE OF THESE

There are so many items I miss from new leaf that I wish they had in new horizons. Especially the items from the amiibo update I got really creative with my house and got inspired to do themed rooms rather than me just throwing random items or only holiday themed rooms. They gave us more color variants for items we didn't have before rather than numerous sets of furniture. Which is cool, but I loved having more furniture sets to pick from. I can't tell you how much I miss the sleek series, regal series and regal series. I seriously put so much effort into collecting all items from certain sets and I still was missing one item from the sleek set in new leaf for my bedroom. You had so much to choose from which was really nice because we couldn't decorate much outside at least we had a lot to look for in the shops to decorate our homes with. I miss also how much more of plant items we had too like my garden room was really nice with the mush set and weeding day stuff like it was a jungle in there with the amount of plants we had in new leaf. We only so many in new horizons which again glad have different color ways, but like I want more, because my garden room doesn't have enough plants.

Aw man!! The nostalgia! I have memories of wishing for a new Animal Crossing after watching your video :) But alas, *’SA MIRAGE*

Hey just a quick thing the reason it went back to 2012 was because the battery either went out of the system (which is how I found out about it) or maybe maybe it will happen if it is stone dead? I dont know about it being dead but mine went back to 2012 when I was trying to fix it

I am very nostalgic for New Leaf as well (even though I started playing very late XD). Peebs actually got me into playing it actually. I've wanted to play Animal Crossing for a while but never got around to it until I watched his birthday live stream about 2 years ago I think and he played a but during the stream. Not long after he started a stream town in New Leaf and those were my first times actually seeing the gameplay of the game. I bought New Leaf not long after and became OBSESSED. So if it wasn't for Peebs, I don't know if I would have gotten into Animal Crossing as I did. So thank you

Your town is so cute! Sometimes I forget to play my game weeks at a time. This is off topic, but one time I found My Pokémon Ranch on my wii again. It had been 5 years since I had last played it. Then my mom made a joke about them still being alive and I just laughed.

You have SPARRO??? Bruh, when I played New Leaf all the time, he would NOT LEAVE. He moved his house smack dab in the middle of a park I built, and he kept having conversations with my villagers that left them sad or angry. He was suuuuuuch a nuisance... I mean, CONGRATS ON THE NEW VILLAGER! XD

There's so much less to do in this game yet I find it so much more fun than new horizons

Sparro was one if my two initial villagers in New Horizons, and after lots of different villagers coming and going, Jacob showed up sometime around September. I already lost my best friend in City Folk, Lucy- who left me a letter, but it sucked going to the city, seeing her and she didnt remember who I was. Then I lost Kyle, my best friend in New Leaf- he left without warning, but he was the one who threw me a Birthday party. The only one left in New Leaf I care about is Biskit, and I want him back in NH

I was screaming to my friends about city folk and new leaf at each their peaks to get it. But only NOW when NEW HORIZONS releases they’re obsessed with it and now they wish they played the older games and had memories. New leaf just hits different

No lie, I hopped onto my old town just to see if the town had been covered in weeds last week. This was my first time playing in a while. IT WAS ALSO IN 2012. I don't if I moved it back that far, but I doubt it.
