I cringed so bad when I saw that poor ladies face get hit. If that soup had been hot, she would have severe burns that could have done permanent damage. No surprise at all. I had worked in a grocery store over 1and half years. I have encountered and seen aggressive customers throwing stuff or bills to me and other cashiers. I didn't feel safe and happy at all and quit. I couldn't expect a little piece of courtesy or respect which human beings deserve.

She needs to press charges against her for assault and sue her for temporary pain and suffering.

What difference does it make if she's a nurse or not? She's a human just like you, and shouldn't be expected to be treated any less or more severely based on her profession. If she worked at a car sales would it make any difference?

This is what happens when the worst people on Earth haven't experienced genuine hardship in 90 years.

At a minimum, she should be fired from her job as a nurse. She should also be charged. She needs to learn a lesson...one that she will never forget

Not only should be charged but her hospital record for any strange events should be investigated. She is clearly nuts.

Angry Customers should be taking Anger Management classes.

It always surprises me when adults, who have been accustomed to telling when something was too hot to eat or drink since childhood, throw decades of hot food experience away when they eat fast food and act like they can't wait until food cools off.

Who cares about the profession, it's just disgusting to see a human being act like this.

1000% charges should be filed. She could have even this woman severe burns, and ruined her life.

UPDATE: A judge sentenced Amanda Martinez to 15 months deferred adjudication and six days of jail work release. That means Martinez will work for the county during that time instead of being held in a cell. Martinez must also pay an $800 fine and cover court costs.

“She’s a nurse at a local hospital.” Not for long.

That’s insane if she conducts herself like this in public then how many patients has she potentially killed or hurt? I hope they also investigate any suspicious activities with patients she’s treated, gets convicted for assault, and is barred from ever being in the medical field period.

It may be up to the victim in this case to press charges. She definitely should.

And to think that she (the customer) was accompanied there by a "man" who immediately after seeing what she did to the manager, instead of reacting in ANY way he ran with the perpetrator of the act straight to the exit point. For me as a man it's outrageous.

She needs to be sued. She could have caused this girl severe burns on her face and that’s definitely what she was aiming for.
