Unbelievable Courtroom Behavior

This was unbelievable courtroom behavior. In 2019, after a judge sentenced another judge to jail time, taking her into custody wasn't easy and a court officer had to drag her out. In 2018, when two prisoners made a run for it, the judge on their case bolted after them. Also in 2018, a handcuffed defendant fled a courtroom and nosedived over a railing. Inside Edition Digital’s Andrea Swindall has more.

While I don’t condone it, I can understand how the family members of victims feel. I can’t imagine how it must feel to lose someone you love, only to see the person responsible standing in front of you.

"Sentenced for attempted battery" wasn't even to do with him leaping at her. It was his previous charge he was there for the first time. The fact the judge didn't add on any jail time for assaulting her just goes to show what a hero of a judge is. Didn't let her emotions get the better of her which is crucial in Law and Order

That’s not how it works. The judge can’t sentence the attacker to anything for assaulting her. She sentenced the defendant to her original sentence for whatever charges he had in that case. The case of him attacking the judge will be a separate case. That case will be heard by a different judge. The judge that was attacked is the victim in that case. She can’t also be the judge for that case.
