the money is paid to victim advocates (in the court), where victims file a claim for financial compensation. this way the victim doesn't have to wait around for the offender to pay or claim they can't pay etc. or have to chase the offender to comply.

She can also possibly lose her nursing license. This was an act of violence.

Working customer service is horrible at times! I’m I cashier at a grocery store and I had to stand up to a customer, we have this new bagger, and he was doing the best he could, but the customer was being a creep and saying to the bagger you don’t know what your doing, and I said to him, it’s his first day today! I agree, I’ve seen it at a shoe store in Hawaii. The customer was charged an extra $2 for donation. She was upset and wanted to get her money back and return the shoes. She did not accept the cashiers apology or just silently accepted the refund she just kept going on about how she already donates to her church and felt robbed, and blah blah blah. I’m like 😩 it’s an extra $2 that went to donation for children with cancer, come on. I really don’t get people who goes to such great lengths to complain.

If she's charged for battery or assault she can get 3 to 10 for sure, 1 is possible, but judge could give her a misdemeanor and give 30 days to 6 months. Not like she punched or anything. Food ain't never hurt anyone however I do think she should be taught a lesson and not let off easy. So I would say a year would be reasonable.

If it was still steaming hot it could have seriously damaged the lady's eyes and with the spices that's like being pepper sprayed. And plus it's not like she's getting life in prison 😁 The victim said herself that the soup was still slightly hot just not enough to burn too bad but the spices still burned her eyes and she had a nose bleed you should pay more attention before talking.

That's just something that happens to all early twenty year old females. They'll probably be friends someday. Too bad. They probably won't let hear the end of it.
