That shot at 3:10, what FPS is that at? It's insane seeing where the smoke is going when it comes off of the tires.

I really want to see TJ put a crazy LS with Magnuson supercharger in this chassis. Haven’t seen that engine package in this chassis, if I’m not mistaking. That supercharger sounds insane as well. Listening to Alec Honnadel’s (pardon my spelling of his last name) s-chassis is NUTS! I think that would make this car much cooler and provide more of a “shock” to viewers. The stock driveline is very logical and is super badass, but if TJ wants to be on par with other competitors in pro am/FD cars he needs to step it up. This nice of a chassis deserves to have an equally impressive engine. Thanks Larry! Loving your content!

He should just work with RK tunes to remove and code out more of the sensors so that this car can be more reliable. If he wants an LS he may as well buy a crashed car. This supra being brand new and factory manual would be a waste to just get an LS swap.

Once you get there with money I suggest you start with a drift missile like an E36 already beat to hell and learn to drift first my dude Prices ain’t low for a mk5 lol All automatic mk5’s are $50k+, Manual Mk5’s are going for $80k here in America. Prices will keep getting insane don’t get your hopes up

MK 5 shells will be available and people will be 2JZ & LS swapping them for drift events but good luck finding a MK5 shell for less then 15k

@@RealTalk-666 15k for a shell is still bad value compared to other readily available options. This video is selling the mk5 as a bolt-on drifter but good luck making financial sense with the platform. Even if you could get a manual for 50k (which you can't), you could build a gt/gr86 with swap for less money.

Reliable way to spend 90 grand for a drift car that'l get thrashed

I love the exterior of the Mk5 but I hate BMW lol. Wish they worked with nearly any other company, obv preferably Japanese but even American would have been better at least in principle.

Larry Toyota built the car. It's basically a stock car

That's one of many reasons why new cars are not for me. Way too much electronics, massing around with everything in the car.

reliable 500hp? maybe if you haven't been watching him struggle to get it to work as he loses comp after comp

Nice looking car but engine bay from Toyota is terrible, that's the downside of some modern cars. With all the electronics and hoses it looks like a hot mess
