I much prefer when people say they enjoy my covers more than the originals, rather than say my covers are *better* than the originals. Because it's so subjective anyway, it sounds less confrontational (for lack of a better word) when stated as an opinion. Regardless, it's a humbling sentiment, and I appreciate it. To even be in the same ballpark as the originals is an accomplishment in itself. I cover songs as a fan, so I'm just trying to share my love for these songs, primarily.

What I really like about your covers, beside your incredible vocals and guitar work, is your total respect for the original song and original arrangement. You remain totally faithful to the original, but still manage to make it your own. I admire your work completely.

JT King Many of them waddling by look old, out of their scope I guess. But I can't imagine Salt Lake being the place where people know their music. Maybe it's just my opinion but I have an image of Utah much different than most places without going into detail.

The food must be terrible or they charge $20 for a beer for this place to not be jammed every night these guys played. They nail every song they play.

Jeff’s bass line is beautiful on this number.

Having been a predominantly classically trained violinist since I was old enough to walk and now a guitarist/singer myself, I can't help automatically being a music snob when it comes to live performances; it's very rare for me to walk into a venue and have the live musicians impress me.. it becomes 'background music.' If I went somewhere and had the privilege of listening to this exceptional musicianship, I would happily stay until the venue closed. I hope these two talented musicians are thanked every single time they get up and perform. Mike's vocals are astounding and his full voice range is off the chain ridiculous. Both of you.. don't ever stop playing music.. and don't ever get ruined by fame. ❤️
