Ovation Custom Legend, previously a Martin DC-16RGTE Aura 6-string guitar into Roland GR-55 guitar synthesizer, Ovation Legend Plus 12-string, Guild F-512 12-string guitar. Mike's vocal mic is usually a Neumann KMS105 in the live videos, and usually a Townsend Labs Sphere L22 for studio recordings.
Jeff's gear:
Fender P Bass (American), Fender 5 string Jazz Bass (Mexico) into Universal Audio LA-610 Pre amp/compressor. Jeff's vocal mic is a Neumann KMS104.
The mixer for most of the early videos is a Yamaha 01x. In 2013, the Yamaha 01x was replaced by a UA Apollo Quad interface running UAD plug-ins via a MacBook Pro.

Wow! I'm late to the Mike Masse party, but Damn that was beautiful... This one gives me struggles trying to sing the parts while concentrating on the finger picking. The picking pattern is just different enough from many similar ones that I have to super concentrate just to play it right... Inspired I am! 😊

This song in particular has always been a favourite of mine, a very underrated song, that should of been a huge hit. I think this is, without doubt one of the best covers I have ever heard, both musically and vocally. You have to have an above average vocal range to take on Bono, and Mike absolutely smashes it out of the park. Top drawer. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
