Seriously, that Blind Melon song is incredibly difficult to sing and he just does it during some random set in a Pizza restaurant and nails it. This guy's voice is fantastic, I've listened to some of his covers hundreds of times.

In the mid-seventies, I had a band that plays to a lot of American servicemen in Clark Airforce Base in Angeles City, the largest airforce base outside the continental U.S. and I remember playing a lot of the songs you do on your channel... what a great opportunity to reminisce such time with great performed songs by you...you’re one of a kind, Mike...and btw, we were then, the most requested band in the biggest island of the Philippines...just humbly recalling such time, because of your great presentation of such songs we used to perform then, too bad I had to leave my band since I immigrated to California...thank you for bringing a lot of inspiration back into my life...I’m almost 70, now...again, thank you...

Wow! I can't even get past the first song without commenting! As I listened to Mike's "More Than A Feelin'", instead of comparing it to the original, I imagined that I'd never heard the song before and this was an original song/version and... JUST INCREDIBLE! I believe that, had THIS been released instead of Boston's version, it would have, at the very least, hit the same positions as Boston's! At the very LEAST!! (Da**it KZread, where's that "LOVE IT!" button?!?!?!?)

nothing but praise for this! Cover tunes often get a bad reputation, but man this stuff is so good. I don't know what else one can say about the healing power of music, whatever form it takes, whether it be the blues, rock, country or any other perspective there's a memory that is tied to certain selections and we are instantly taken back to that place. solace can be found in the simplest of places and notions where a tear is shed amongst streets where pain persists.

Just found this guy.... OMG. what an inspiration. I’m starting an acoustic act, and this gives me an entire set list. I’m not nearly as good, but I’ve been singing in bands for 40 years, just never tried to go solo. Keep this coming, what a fantastic talent!

I think I figured out Mike's thing. He is an incredible singer to be sure, but he has a special ability beyond that to find other incredible talent and makes awesome collabs.
