I think that as you go through the different years up to age 18, you will tell yourself, what a difference a year makes! She continues to evolve. This particular song brings me to tears every time and I've been listening to it for 6 years.

Came back for another visit! Paul, if you play this everyday, particularly in the morning, Angelina will 'make a difference' in each day in your life. It's such a beautiful haunting sound that she projects and it lingers with us throughout a day packed with a lot of other things going on. You'll find yourself humming it to yourself at various times during the day. Remarkable. And overwhelmingly beautiful.

I was in grade school when Dina Washington sang this song and I loved it. Angelina just sang this note for note and included every inflection that Dina sang! David Foster who produced Celine & Whitney flew to Norway and I’ve seen video of him commenting to other artists about this very performance.

This was ten years ago. She's already a pro at this age.

She was fortunate to have been born in a place and into a family that allowed her gift to flourish. We are all fortunate to reap the rewards of her circumstance, talent, dedication, and work ethic. Hello Sir. Don’t worry about trying to find words. There aren’t any. This was at age 8, shortly after she had won Norway’s Got Talent. In addition to her unimaginably beautiful voice, she stunningly demonstrates, in this performance, her phenomenal mastery of timing, phrasing (and back phrasing), perfection of pitch, and her understanding of the use of vibrato (the latter in particular, as you have no doubt observed, improves as she gets older). She has been called a prodigy, but even that seems to be an understatement. Thank you for another heartfelt reaction, and it is wonderful to see the joy that listening to her brings to you, just as it does to all of us.

This is Angelina's first televised outdoor performance, only 10 days after her wining "Norway's got talent". Recorded using professional TV recording gear and proper sound mixing by TV2 so that her beautiful voice shines through even when backup singers and band are so far from their small stage in the middle of this ocean of people. (This venue in Halden seats 10,000 spectators). Her summer vacation wasn't just about ice cream - the next week she performed a mini-concert in front of Prime Minister Erna Solberg and Norwegian Cabinet, two weeks later her first televised charity event took place on Midsummer Eve, and four weeks later she performed for the first time at Kongsberg Jazz Festival. During the visit to the US that she mentioned in this short interview, she made her first appearance on US television (ABC's "The View") and appeared at the 2014 UN Climate Summit. And from the records of these events, it appears that she had a lot of fun with it.

Could listen to her every hour, at any age she sang, any genre, she owns them all.

Equally amazing is how far away she is from the stage with the musicians AND completely surrounded by the audience. No fear. Complete confidence.

Angelina is the most unreal artist I have ever seen. How is this possible...have asked me 1000 times.

My dad’s favorite from her, and the best singing performance I have ever heard from an 8 year old! You are so lucky, you have so many fantastic performances still left to hear for the first time.

This is my favorite "Baby Angelina" song & one of the 1st I ever heard of her on the "Night of Angelina Discovery" over 6 years ago. I stayed up all night listening to everything I could find on YT. After a few hours sleep I picked up where I left off & every day since then I listen to her music for hours at a time. It has a calming effect like nothing else I've ever experienced. Doctors should write prescriptions for her music!!!

Hi Paul! Get used to being surprised & stunned every single time you hear Angelina sing. I discovered Angelina during the lockdown in April or May 2019, and everytime I hear her voice, I'm incandescently happy. My first listen to AJ was her cover of Lana Del Rey's "Born to die" and it was a mere chance because I was much more curious about the title of the song (which I never heard before, of course) than the person singing it. In fact I discovered that it was a cover only after I've watched several reactions. From then on, I couldn't stop. I listen to Angelina day in day out. Her rendition of "Bohemian Rhapsody" blew me away and so did her cover of "I put a spell on you".

Thanks for your reaction. This was the first video I watched by Angelina, just over 4 years ago. It is like, she has a connection to music heaven. I have learned a lot about Angelina in 4 years, but often think that I have only scratched the surface. I am confident she will continue to surprise us for many years to come.

This was the first performance that I stumbled upon. I had never heard of her. Came across this and I've been hooked ever since. I'm an old metal head from way back. Now, I mostly listen to AJ.

Paul, she sounded just like Dinah Washington! This video ranks very high on our list of our favorite Angelina songs, There are so many things going on in this video and each time someone watches it they will find another moment which draws their interest. For instance, when she sings, "There's a rainbow before me," she gives us that half smile that she is so famous for. Or, the composure she has answering questions in the interview and then performing in the middle of thousands of people with the band and the backup singers seemingly miles away from her. Anything she sings she understands the message in the song and particularly the message of love. I started tearing up when I knew you were starting to lose it and I'm sure I wasn't alone. Even the last note of the song she carries it all the way to the proper ending. And then curtsies! only Angelina...

Robert, she usually curtsies, but this performance & her performance on The View singing Fly Me to the Moon, are the only 2 times I've see her take a bow.

RobertDelMartin One thing going on in this video is not obvious,may be you have to be Norwegian to understand,or may be you can understand it if you are German,and that is,in this video you can see a woman with a lot of flowers in her hair,closing her eyes and shaking her head,and why are she doing that,I think she recognice she is listening to a prodigy,and she would know,because once upon a time she was a prodigy herself,or at least a child star ,her name is Anita Hegerland,in the beginning of the seventies only Michael Jackson was higher on the bestselling lists here in Norway,she was a big star in Western Germany,singing in television shows with a big german star Roy Black,later in life she was married to a world famous artist Mike Oldfield,they sung together,so may be they had some well known music together,I don't remember,but it is a possibility,may be I now gave som new information to the Angels.

Yes, without knowing who she was, she is a big part of the video because of her obvious affection for Angelina and shaking her head side to side told us how amazing she believed Angelina to be. Her reaction to Angelina was one of those moments I spoke about and now you told us even more about it. I hope Anita is well and enjoying Angelina's rise to superstardom.

That's one of my favorites from her early years

Angelina an eight year old Norwegian girl, who happens to be a musical prodigy. She has God given talent that is how she does this! Singing in her second language! Her control and precision are out of this world! What other eight year old has adult back up singers! This was just a month after winning NGT and performed at Sing Along At The Border, which Angelina has appeared numerous times! Unfortunately they stopped this concert series in 2022.
