This is about as perfect as you can get. I think it’s absolutely one of her best-even though she’s so, so young. Angelina has said she goes into her own world when she’s singing, and you can see the transformation from the shy 8 year old who has to be prodded to answer the interviewer’s questions. When she starts to sing, she’s into the music completely. And it’s not just that impossible voice for a very young child-it’s her impeccable phrasing, her vibrato, her timing-all just perfect. We’re transported back 60 years, and it’s beautiful.

Isn’t this glorious with that sunlight, the crowd, the backup and Angelina! That sustained note at the end…. Life is hard and when Angelina sings she goes to a place she has spoke about that we see a glimpse of watching her, and wish I could go there as well.

This is the performance that David Foster said was the best he'd ever heard from a child.

For me this is Angelina's best performance in her already long and wonderful career.

Dear, I was told by Norwegians, that 2 to 3 weeks later, the people of Norway decdlared Angelina Jordan Astar, THE NATIONAL TREASURE OF NORWAY. As this was confirmed several times, you can understand why Scandinavian musicians were proud, and later on felt honored to work with her. A few years later she was famous for her unerring sense for music and musicians 4 times her age asked her for advise, or did as she recommended how to play music. Remeber the conductor of Forsvaret Stabsmusickorps asking her during their rehearsal. This is so damn good...never ever again will we see such an unreal talent like Angelina.

This 'vocal chameleon' ability to emulate other artists so closely, you could actually believe it was the original artist singing. Here. it's Dinah Washington, and the year before when she was 7, her rendition of 'Gloomy Sunday' sounded as if Billie Holiday actually sang it.

Luv your Sunday reactions... it's truly amazing that Angelina can have memorized the lyrics. No doubt she has listened to this many times along with other classics..her ability to emulate all the voices who made such a huge impression, combined with her own UNIQUE voice helped her find her way to HER sound .I saw a video of famed producer David Foster standing with a few people gushing over Angelina, urgung them to look her up singing this very song... she's completely endearing here, not accustomed to interviews but oh SO COMFY holding a 🎤, closing her eyes and taking us with her, to a place that is music and magic all in one. PEACE Angels!!

This does NOT sound like a 8 year old. But there she is. Singing with ease this song perfectly like a seasoned professional singer in her forties. In the middle of hundreds, maybe thousands of people that had their jaws on the ground. She is the real deal. As good as she does these old classics, she also is able to sing any song. Like a temporarily song. Her voice will adapt to anything. A natural born singer. By far my favorite singer. I do listen to a lot of music. Maybe 500 different artists (at least) a year. But I can not find anyone else that reach up to her level. It is important for me to understand that I am biased, and that people can feel the same for other artists. So it is just me. I can't help it. She put a spell on me several years ago. And here we are.

It was surreal. Sold out show. People came from EVERYWHERE. She was so nervous ! Her first show in america ! She couldn't believe people came from all over the world to see her. We cried, she cried. I met Sara her mom. Angelina brought the place down. Over two hours of fkn magic. Two encores. She's still the gorgeous person she always was. I'm tearing up writing this because it came and went already. You HAVE to go see her. I swear Adrianna, I felt like I was tripping out for two hours. I've been watching her daily for six years and there she was, twenty feet away. I looked her in the eyes three or four times. You're going next time if I have to buy the damn ticket for you ! 😘 🦶🦶😇

Most of us can't believe we actually saw the living breathing Angelina. For two hours I was 20 feet away from her ! What ?!! I mean what ?!! She did Bohemian Rhapsody ! The whole day was like a dream. The weather was perfect, the historic town and theatre were gorgeous, and Angelina was just..... I dunno. There's nothing to compare her to. With so many, many songs to choose from and to listen to with Angelina singing for us, this one is required listening! Like many of her angels I have listened to this well over 1000 times and I begin to tear up each time, especially when I watch someone like you hear it for the first time and literally get blown away. There are so many things going on in the video besides her incredible voice and her version of this classic song. She was 8 years old and people in attendance must have been wondering, "What will she be like when she gets older?" Well, she 17 now and better than ever. And the most remarkable thing of all, THIS IS STILL THE BEGINNING OF HER CAREER! She will be in Concert Sep 22, 2023 (less than 2 weeks away!) in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, her first USA Concert and she will be introducing music from her new album (all original music and written by her). Hold onto your hat, here she comes world!!!!!

This performance is still my all time favourite and I've watched it hundreds of times. So calming and soothing, a performance to treasure for life ♥ Just listening to her tone, her phrasing, the emotion she transmits is mind boggling. A small 8 year-old surrounded by a huge audience with the orchestra far behind her, singing like there wasn't a worry in the world. Amazing!

I’m still loving the recorded interpretation of this Dinah Washington song from AJ. It’s a little more uptempo and she’s taking more vocal liberties with the cadence of the song almost like she taking out the words as opposed to singing the song , thats what I really appreciate, the artistry .. she definitely gave the song new Life wile still keeping it Vintage sounding.

Angelina singing like that would shock anybody especially at that age, 8 years old. For her it's about singing to the world and spreading love, for us is about a child impacting our lives with her gift. This was after she won NGT, but before she travelled to the USA (or - as Angelina says: "oosa"). What's truly amazing to me is that at 8 years old Angelina is being interviewed & having a conversation in Norwegian & then ends up singing a masterpiece in perfect English with impeccable timing. While I know that you already reacted to one version of Angelina singing Fly Me To The Moon, I highly recommend her performing that song in the US on The View still at age 8 (this was part of her trip to "oosa"). In addition to the magnificent quality of her rendition of "What A Difference A Day Makes", this video reminds us of three things about AJ: 1) we readily forget that English is not her mother tongue, so perfect is it; 2) in the interview preceding her performance, her voice, slightly deep and veiled, is nonetheless quite childlike, and that an incredible vocal transformation takes place when she's on stage; 3) the calm with which she sings in front of such a large audience as quietly as if she were doing it at home in her bedroom in front of a mirror.
