This was a very, very good reaction, my friend! One should think that you have been listening to her for a LONG time. And I also love the fact that you remember many things that you have been told, and bring it all into your reaction. That tells me that you are really interested and invested in her as a singer and artist. And I ALSO love that you said that you want to listen to the other songs from the EP. The EP is called "Old Enough". Personally I rank Love Don't Let Me Go 4th on the album. I will just give you the 3 songs I have before this one: 1) Good In Goodbyes 2) Diamond and 3) All My Fault. You will get to hear right away her incredible diversity, and hopefully you will appreciate her writing skill as well. Of her new EP ..OLD ENOUGH. All tracks great but each a different mix of Soul, R&B, Pop, and Jazz with great beats, she writes great lyrics and keeps rhe sultry vocal colour consistent even though Angelina can colour her vocal colour tone and texture any way she wishes. DIAMOND on the EP is perhaps the most experimental with genre mixes.

Yes Jack, react to her Love Don't Let Me Go, the 1st song on her new EP with 6 original songs, where she sings about love as a concept instead of a person. Make sure you do the video version that was released as a single a couple of months before the rest of the songs. The last 4 songs are audio only, so far, but I've heard she may make videos for them sometime in the future. Then she said she will release a full LP album by the end of this year. She has said she has written over 100 songs in the last couple of years while she was finishing her schooling. Now that she has graduated HS, she & her family are ready for her to go full-time on her career, so we have several albums in the future. Great analysis, BTW & can't wait for the next one.

Yes, Jack, she also sings live in the studio, mostly she only needs one take and she doesn't need an auto-tune at all. The amazing thing about her is that she sounds even better with her raw voice at a live concert than in the studio, and all the voices in the background are all hers

Dear friend the whole EP is a story of her style evolving and giving us a taste of how she can bring the old voices into the current genres giving them new colour and flavour. Diamond is the current culmination of the journey- be surprised by each song in turn.

There is no other singer in my life, that has been able to pull me right into the song, feeling her emotion, & setting the ambience of the song......I am so glad I lived in the Angelina Jordan era, & she is definitely her own genre, that I almost feel like it should be called *MOOD MUSIC* ❤ ❤ ❤

Typically for a "rock" person, you mention Amy Winehouse. Probably she is the closest to jazz for young people. She probably shares inspiration from some of the same jazz legends as Angelina, but Angelina just is at another level vocaly.

I get what you're saying, but she is probably far from having her "truly adult" voice. She is only 17! lol That's a scary thought! My God! How could she sound much better?!!
