Thank you, that was an excellent analysis! I don’t think Angelina intended to jump ahead of the beat at 21:55, because she hardly ever does. It is singing *behind* the beat in a typical jazz fashion that is often part of her style. But when this little mistake happens, she covers it masterfully by simply extending the next note, even marking the correct time by dividing the word clo/ose. Making mistakes is a part of any live performance, but making sure - on the fly - that almost nobody notices, that is the hallmark of a true professional. Angelina has had this capability for quite some time. At the Kongsberg Jazz Festival recorded when she was 12, it is the drummer in her excellent band who goes on for an extra bar while she is belting out a high note. But again she notices and simply extends, perfectly covering HIS mistake. That is something you’d only expect from someone with years and years of live show experience.

She looks tired because she literally flew in from LA only a few hours prior to this concert, so she's probably running on adrenaline and caffeine.

Grazie Giacomo, questa forse non è la migliore delle sue interpretazioni di questa fantastica e difficile canzone, per la giornata ventosa e perché quella pubblicata e la sua seconda interpretazione dopo pochi minuti dalla prima (avevano avuto problemi tecnici nella registrazione), ma in compenso l'audio è veramente professionale, realizzato dalla TV2 Norvegese.

Qualche consiglio , anche per spaziare negli anni di Angelina. 10 anni back ti black dove, causa alcune parole non adatte per la tenera età , ha pure personalmente modificato il testo 12 anni. Born to Die di Lana del Rai , a detta di alcuni addirittura superiore all'originale 15 anni You Say di Lauren Daigle , cantata al concerto di natale del 23/12/2021 e anche in questo caso , secondo alcuni superiore all'originale. 17 anni il suo ultimissimo lavoro Out Time. Purtroppo non è un video ma se gradisci anche valutare come spazia in più generi, ti consiglio certamente l'ascolto. Sempre ringraziandoti per l'eccellente lavoro ti saluto

After this, july 1st Kurbadhagen, july 7th Kongsberg, july 10th Sandefjord. Ci sono molti video di questi concerti. Dovresti guardarli. You said you love live performances. Ti suggerisco 2 canzoni, una cover and an original,che ha fatto a Kongsberg. By the way, I was there and even got her autograph on my copy of her book Between two Hearts. That made me laugh.😄 Apparently commenters have not impressed upon you just how many live concerts and other live appearances she had done by this point (summer of 2022). I believe by any reasonable standard, she could be considered a "veteran of the stage". Just counting the events I have specific dates for in my records (I'm not sure what percentage of the total that might be), between age 7 and this concert at 16½, I count 59 events where she sang live in front of crowds of some significant size (i.e., not counting rehearsals and "closed set" kinds of TV and radio appearances).

Angelina was a little out of breath because she just got finished singing 2 minutes before she had to sing it again because of wind making the recording for TV unusable.

I am glad you explained some problems. I felt distracted. Not a favorite.

Why does she do all the singing gymnastics ? Just sing the bloody song !! Is it a case of the Kings new clothes where everybody has to fall in line and think she's great ?? If you want a REAL singer of today and in my opinion the greatest singer around today is Lucy Thomas. Soon to be a West End musical star. She knocks this girl Celine Dion and Whitney Houston out of the water and she is still 19 years old !
