Man, I don't know what it is, but I am so on your wavelength when I watch you react to Angelina...you said it so well...her producer does have it easy with her, I'm sure it's never more than one take on any given song. This one brings tears to my eyes every single time I hear it, and I hesitated to watch just because I thought, "Well, how many times do I need to hear this?" I need to hear it all the time. And I LOVE how you sang along with Angelina. You really have a unique gift, keep developing that!

Don't know if it's true, however, of you notice here last high note before she goes to chorus to finish; there is a small cry & she looks like she is ready to cry. This was a very emotional piece for her. Another one she wrote displays her feelings as well & that is Shield.

This is about her grandfather that has since passed-she misses him-very special song - beautiful lyrics!

Watching Angelina sing is a delight in and of itself. On top of her vocals, you can't beat it.

I dont get tired listening to this song by Angelina. It makes my day . Thank you for your lovely reaction.

She is , at 6 ft. tall and slim, looking like a runway model. Her dark hair and eyes, attributed to the dna she inherited from her Persian grandma, who also was a child prodigy, namely artist Mery Zamani, just adds to her beauty. This girl has it all in so many areas beyond her exquisite vocal ability that commands a range from 5 octaves to soulful lows. One of a kind, that's for sure, especially when you realize her, unmatched, ability to apply herself to so many different genres.

@@robertbruce1533 There has never been, to my knowledge, anyone with the versatility excellence of Angelina. No matter the genre she decides to do, it leaves the listener with deep feeling in the soul, and you have to keep reminding yourself that she is a young girl, nowhere near adulthood yet.

Just watched again, respect.

Omeezy, Everything about this live video has Angelina’s fingerprints on it. First, is the simplicity of the black and white production. There is no over-the-top glitz to make it a sensationalized spectacle. Instead we see stately Angelina wearing all black, standing on a small stage with a microphone and accompanied with a cello and a piano. The lighting is subdued and the brightest light is focused on Angelina’s beautiful face. In this case less was definitely more.

How are you doing been awhile hope you had a Merry Christmas, thank you for another great reaction to Angelina the one and only I can you think of one other artist I follow that they will never need autotune and that is Halsey and I hope Angelina does not get underated like her because these two artists evoke the rawist of emotions of any artist I have heard and I am 58 not real old but old enough to have heard some of the greatest and even they do not have the versatility she posseses but what I love most that when she hits those high notes they are piercing in that they hit you right in the heart most other artists just scream to draw attention to themselves like look what I can do, Angelina's come with a purpose.

Her voice is very haunting

She is ridiculous, amazing and the perfect instrument to emit more emotion than a song should have. The only difference that sticks out is, in the lyric version her speaking voice comes in while she is finishing her last high note. I also agree with Rusty. This was shot perfect to allow you to only focus on her and her voice.

What you said about the producer not needing to touch her voice... I have actually seen a video of someone producing her saying this. He said she's easy for producers because there's nothing to fix. I reaaly like the way they shot this video also. It was perfect for the song.

That would be the Fly me to the Moon recording made in New York in 2016 for the Linkedin advert. kzread.info/dash/bejne/lGhmq7x_Z66ugso.html .After they got Angelina to do a few takes, the producer said that each one was almost perfect. While the producer was trying to find something to fix Angelina was spending time arranging flowers in her hair - just another day at the office....

I also believe this was done in one take. If you follow her hand movements as they switch between cameras, there are no 'glitches'. At least I couldn't detect any. How impressive isn't that!!!

@@sjh1956 Multiple takes, check the head positions. Edit: I think the soundtrack was one take, based on the differences from the lyric video. The video was definitely more than one.

Great reaction Omeezy, again. This beautifully shot studio live version is so mesmerizing. Part of the joy of listening to this incredible singer is seeing her sing and all the heartfelt emotion she pours into her songs. Agree with your comment about Beyonce but Angelina is just 14 with a talent way beyond many many "pop" singers. I almost have to think of Angelina as a Classical Singer along the lines of Streisand, Josh Groban, Celine and any other Classical Singer you may think of who's vocals do not need to be "tweaked", auto-tuned or any other gimmick to make them sound better. Angelina is pure vocal perfection.

I really do appreciate someone your age that sings a different genre and how you appreciate her talent. There has been a discussion in our fan club about her main fan base being over 50. And to an extent I think that is true. Many of her covers are older songs. But we need young people like you to spread the word about this young lady. She is special. I will admit I watch your reactions but haven’t listened to any of your songs on here. Do you just rap or do you have some songs where you use that nice singing voice I heard when you were singing along with Angie?

I also don't understand why Angelina Jordan has 449k subscribers in the channel Angelina Jordan Official, but her lyric video has at the moment only 411k views for 50 days? I'm not very good at math, but in my opinion something is wrong here. I hope her songs get more love and appreciation in the near future.

Hey Omeezy, Thanks for a great & honest reaction. Everyone is so protective of her like she's a precious daughter or sister etc. God really has blessed her in so many ways, talents, skills, her voice & her big heart. I hope & pray this song gets song of the year, but probably wont even though it's a perfect song for the year. It will probably be something from Beyonce . Republic only did a short release in 2 countries, Spain & Australia. Never got radio time her in USA or anywhere else. I sure don't know what game their playing, but it's not right. Totally agree that she needs no production or effects. Anyway, I think a tune effect has been used in this video, as well as Ceci Dover believes (and she is a trained vocal coach). For me that's a shame. No effect should be added to AJ's voice in a live video.
