The guitarist was Ivan Mendez. She did a lot of work with him after moving to the US. The blond lady is Sara Astar, her mother. The man sitting next to her is Michael Astar, brother of Sara and Angelina's manager. The little girl is Juliet, Angelina's sister and, the person filming is Mery Zamani, Angelina's maternal grandmother.

It sounds like she's singing with a full band, but it's only an acoustic guitar and her orchestrally Voice,🎸👌😍

Her voice and what she does to people is fascinating & baffling. Her mastery of timing and beat is one of her more astounding basic skills. It's one thing to sound fabulous but how is possible that a little kid can be so precise?

I've noticed that too. Even when she was 6yo on her first studio session, her timing was perfect. Other reviewers have commented on how she does the jazz style slightly behind, slightly ahead of the beat which, I would imagine, takes even more timing skill.

I have listened to Suspicious Minds 50+ times, and I don’t foresee a time when I say I am tired of hearing it. So Gabi, others feel like you.

This was recorded at her house. The guitarist was Ivan Mendez. He is the same guitarist that did "Stay", "Million Years Ago" and other songs. It was another one of those sessions, like most he had with her, where she asks him "do you know this song", then she starts singing and he follows along. He didn't see the video or know it was released till much later.

Angelina was 13 when this was uploaded Dec.21, 2019 but it may have been recorded much earlier. Notice that just before she gets out of the car she hands Michael money to tip the limo driver, LOL. Michael is her mother's brother, her uncle and also has always been Angelina's manager. Yes, that was Sara Astar, her mother and little sister Juliette. Not shown is grandma Mery Zamani who is doing the filming. This is one of my favorites but like you said that's because it's the last one I listened to!

Oh yes, we have prinsesses in Norway you know 🤴 And Angelina is clearly one of them. Queen to be in Jazz and arts of music. And you are right. Always a good choice to let Angelina finish your sessions in music. Then you know you walk away luckily and happy in heart and soul🤗

She is Norwegian, she speaks Norwegian, Japanese, Iranian, and English. Her original grandfather is Japanese, and her grandmother is Iranian. Her father is Swedish. You can see all of these nationalities in her looks

I also love that she's making the effort to learn Spanish..She's always said she wants to share her music with the world, & learning enough to sing & speak in different languages is a good avenue 4 her to do that. Just as her English has gotten so much better, so it will be with any language she's undertaking to learn and I so support & admire her efforts and hours of hard-work.😍

Yes! As I've often commented, your favorite AJ performance is almost always the last one you heard. And you're right -- you just never get used to being surprised.

Angelina recorded the song when she was 12, being accompanied on the guitar by Ivan Mendez with whom she recorded (between March and June 2018) several songs at home. One of these songs is "A Million Years Ago" (Adele Cover -> kzread.info/dash/bejne/g3yA1ryKY9avp6g.html) which is one of my favorite covers of Angelina. And I am pretty sure you have not reacted to that one yet.

Recorded at age 12 we believe Gabi. Pretty sure she is arriving in Las Vegas for the recording of AGT performance. She performed on AGT at 13 but this was recorded before this video was shot with Ivan on guitar. Remarkable young lady. This is simply beautiful to say the least. Thanks Gabi, love your reactions as always. She is a princess, or goddess for sure.

AGT takes place in Los Angeles - Since Angelina lives in L.A. it is a short commute. Angelina and her family travel to Las Vegas often for business and vacations.

Yes, that was her Mom in the limo, and the older woman (barely glimpsed here) was Grandma Meri. The little girl was Juliette of course, and the man was Uncle Mike, who is also her manager. I don't know where they were going but I wouldn't mind staying in a big hotel like that!

I think she was going to the America’s Got Talent show, and I think this is Las Vegas. She was 13 for the show. That was her manager, Uncle Mike, her mother and sister, and her grandmother was probably recording the video.

I think it's interesting that her mom protects her. When they headed into the hotel she grabbed Angelina's hand. And when Angelina started to go through a different door he mom made her come over to where she was going in. We forget that Angelina is still a young girl. But her mom doesn't. I'm glad they protect Angelina.

Here Angelina was 12 years old, Ivan Mendez, the guitarist only worked with her during 2018, when she moved to LA. As for the trip to Las Vegas - not sure...

She was 12 when she and Ivan did this cover . On her Tiktok she did another Sam Smith song and Sam contacted her back and opened the possibility of doing a duet.

Rumor has it that this video was shot upon her arrival in Vegas for her first appearance on AGT. If that’s the case she would have been 13. Not sure when the audio was recorded. The guitar player sounds like Ivan Mendez.

@@johndoe-gt6gp Yes. AGT in LV. AGT the Champions in LA. Ivan Mendez accompanying her in this video only worked for her a few months in 2018 (before Ivan's new work commitments separated them).

Gosh, there are so many Angelina songs to choose from, covers and some originals. I believe they start at age 6 and go to current age, about 16+ (although she is VERY tall and looks older than she is). She's 12 or 13 in that one, and absolutely crushes it while sitting in a chair, with a microphone, in front of one of Grandma Meri's paintings at home! The ending is extraordinary!

In an interview, Ivan Mendez said that he did the guitar on this song (Angelina was 12 then) and was surprised to see that it came out with this Las Vegas video instead of the original one recorded at Angelina's place. Something similar happened with the videos to her "How Great Thou Art" (see kzread.info/dash/bejne/iYB1p9tqfKyuosY.html) and "Wake Me Up" (see kzread.info/dash/bejne/eGmjz6WuhLSfg5M.html) covers (in total they recorded six songs together between March and June 2018) where one only can hear Ivan Mendez playing the guitar.

@@keithserafy Keith, maybe I have my details wrong. Didn't Angelina go to Vegas? I thought it was for AGT perhaps auditions. I thought she would have been 13, But someone mentioned she was 12 but the video they showed she was 13. Sounds like I'll have to do a little more research to try to clarify that. @@ronraskind She was in Vegas for the regular AGT in 2019, as a spectator, and was spotted by two reactors as you know.. However this recording with Ivan was done when they worked together, and that was in 2018.. The audio and video are not necessarily contemporary...

That was Ivan Mendez on the guitar, one of the songs they recorded that he didn't need to learn in 2 minutes :) He did a wonderful job backing her on so many of her precious recordings. I have that same "issue" when listening to female artists you have Gabi 😄

She is amazing in her skills, & HER VOICE-incomparable! Truly. 🥰

This is my favourite of hers. If I was going to recommend my 2nd favourite then it would be 'Young and beautiful'.

You need to do a reaction with Florrie to an original that was written by a duo in Norway called TRXD. They do EDM and this song doesn't get the attention it deserves. It's my opinion that the reason is because it isn't the normal style for Angelina. It isn't listed on Angelina's channel because she is just the featured singer and not the writer of the song. Rune Jensen,the guitarist Ivan Mendez has in an interview statet that he worked with Angelina from Mars to June 2018,and Angelina is born on the 10th of January 2006,that makes her much closer to twelve than thirteen in this cover.

You are exactly right. She has a voice you never get tired of. I had the pleasure of seeing two of her Norway concerts back in July and spending time with Angelina and Sara after both concerts. It was magical. ❤

A top recording exec said that he knew of only three singers who could produce a finished product in 'one take'. They are Beyonce, Sam Smith, and Angelina. Her 'jazz inspired' style just reaches me more deeply than Sam's version, which on its own is a fabulous rendition. There's just something about infusing the elements of 'jazz' that improves heartfelt ballad singing and Angelina is a master at it.

Sam Smith sings this song from the female perspective. You should watch the video with his version. It is a tear jerker! Then think of that video while listening to Angelina singing it! The real perspective.
