When she sang Video Games nobody could understand her in that but the melody was absolutely beautiful. I don’t understand Spanish but I can feel the emotions of this song and that is the brilliance of this 16 year old child!

I don't understand Spanish (other than a few words) but I could listen to Angelina sing in any language or just hum. She is my favorite artist.

We want a song in any language that Angelina chooses to sing, does not matter anymore. The song is Amor Mio from the Gypsy Kings and she is singing Flamenco style...trying out some new stuff on her TikTok where she definitely loves to experiment and surprise us. A suggestion below in the comments is something to look at Gabi, Angelina singing in Japanese at a concert in Japan few years back. Thank you for reacting to Angelina's rendition of this Spanish song. If I'm correct, this is a song by the Gypsy Kings from maybe 1989 or so. Leave it to Angelina to take something as iconic as a Gypsy King classic and slow it down and put her Angelina emotion into it. I think perhaps it doesn't matter what the language is, Angelina sings "universal", using breathy tones, her unique timbre, emotion which all translates into any language. Don't you think? She moves us, bewitches us, Angelina really does.

Hey, Gabi. Hola, Ali! It is her 1st song in Spanish. She apologized for imperfections. Amo Mio is by Gipsy Kings and is flamenco style song. The Spanish speaking reactors are loving her for this. Ceci Dover says she should improve her diction, but that the voice is gorgeous and a perfect match for flamenco, because of the emotion. This give me chills and grabs my soul from the first note. Yes, Gipsy Kings sings faster. She's making it more ballad like. This exists because she's working on it. She is aware she has a large Spanish speaking fan base. Yes, Gipsy Kings is full on flamenco. It was so smooth and beautiful and it relaxes and soothes me. Just wonderful :-) Angelina has a habit of changing lyrics when feels it is important. The original lyrics are like this: Amor mio Amor mio por favor Tu no te vas Yo cuentare a las horas Que nadia hoy Vuelve No volvere no volvere no volvere No quiere recordan No queire recordan And she repeats the first verse twice and than the second verse twice and then the first verse again. To me she hums last line and a half of the first verse more than actually pronounce them. The translation I found is this: My love my love please don't go away i will count the hours until i see her my love Come back i will not return i will not return... i don't want to remember, i don't want to remember

I have to agree with Carl. I like to here her in any laugauge too. Here voice is like a new found instrument that I love and never heard before. At her recent concerts in Norway Angelina was talking to her fans in different laugauges so everyone knew what she was saying.

This song immediately transported me into the Denzel Washington movie Man on Fire. She's going to be so so good singing this type of music from southern spain.

Angelina is fearless. Experimenting with Spanish, she knows it is work-in-process but she is still sharing it with the world. I love this and hope she will continue to sing in Spanish ❣️

By the way, this is her sixth language: Norwegian, English, Swedish, Farsi, Japanese and now Spanish. She has either spoken or sung in every one of these languages.

I have now actually seen that interview. It was conducted in German in Berlin, I believe, when she was performing there at about 10 or 11 years old.

Hi guys. Agree that it would be nice to hear more from Angelina singing in Spanish. This song is flamenco style even though slower than the original. Like the original by the Gypsy Kings, Angelina is singing it more in Gitano Spanish (no slur intended but that is what it is called in Spain) in which many of the vowels are extended. It makes the music of flamenco very emotional and is similar to how Angelina often changes how words are pronounced to create a special sound in a song. The flip side is it can be hard to understand even if Spanish is your native language. Even though it is important to understand what is sung, for flamenco, the sound and emotion it creates is most important. Not sure how fluent Angelina is in speaking Spanish but she is fluent in French and recently lived in Madrid and studied at the School of Rock there and also has lived in LA for awhile, so won't be surprised if she is pretty proficient. Speaking/learning new languages seems to come easy to her.

Listen to her live on stage in Japan singing Like A River Flow in perfect Japanese. Her grandfather was Japanese.

Hi Gabi. That was a nice reaction you 2. Angie is learning Spanish while in High School. She even apologized on her on her channel for her poor Spanish. If she gets her diction down, Man there's no stopping her in that genre. But this also might just be a 1 time. (we hope not) I would love to hear sing in another language she knows "Farsi" & in "Swedish" & another one in "Japanese". Also when she's done with Spanish move onto "Italian". She does that she'll take over the singing world. She was 11 during that trip to Japan. She sang the intro to "La vie en Rose" in French (when she was 10).

A couple of days ago I heard something very special; AJ singing in Japanese on Japanese TV. kzread.info/dash/bejne/lohkrpqCg8qraLQ.html, It was reported from the Japanese audience that she was perfect in Japanese also. However, it should be added that AJ is 25% Japanese.
