Angelina is just Wow Wow Wow, Angelina 16 Whitney 29 need we say more. Both of them are great unique singers , but different we need to give each one the proper praise . Angelina is not a Whitney and Whitney was not a Angelina. But for me Angelina adds the jazz spice I like that Whitney did not have.

No need for comparisons here. The defining aspect is how the singer makes you feel. Angelina is capable of raising goosebumps, causing tears to flow and jaws to drop. An exquisite voice emanating from a fetching young lady. Wow!

She just dropped this over the weekend. Like Saturday midnight or something. Okay, let's go. The song was not written by WH. It was written by two songwriters FOR WH, and it is very vocally challenging no matter the key one starts in. A vocal coach pointed out AJ has started on a G and WH started it several steps (not whole notes) higher. Sorry I can't recall the name of those steps. Angelina has approached this song with vision and intelligence. She has honored WH while stamping it for herself. It is like our 16 yo Angelina is announcing the next step in her multi-level maturation, a step that says, "Angels, there is more to come." And, I'm with you. This Grandma wants to protect this Dear One who sings and lifts us up. I feel healing in her voice....no one is ever alone. And that last note is something to take home. 💜

As fantastic as Whitney was, if she were still alive she would be singing covers of Angelina's songs, I don't know if the would could handle voices of that caliber. Two voices of this level could end wars, eliminate prejudice. We would only need one name for all countries on the planet. She is a gift from the Gods. I'd love to get a job carrying her bags, but I could only pay her $2.50 and hour to work for her.

Yes, it's definitely better than Whitney Houston, and that's the benchmark for music. And I will always remember Whitney Houston, for the great artist she was, and I think Angelina will too! Angelina sings with more power and depth, and we can also include her unique communication skills.

Will agree 100%. Angelina's tribute to her idol Whitney goes beyond greatness...we are in a new realm now. Oh so tired of some many reactors and "vocal coaches" commenting on the fact she is not singing it in "Whitney's KEY"....great observation since this in Angelina Jordan and NOT Whitney....so so tired of that crap. What's up Ray? Boy, this one was a surprise! Looks like she's using the same antique store again, but who cares! The music she's been making in this store have been top tier and the videos visually beautiful. Love that she went back to the black and white again. The monochrome look gives her such a classic look. She already has the voice of an established singing superstar/diva, but without the bad attitude. I love Angelina's voice. I do think Whitney (RIP Whitney, we ❤ you) sang her notes a bit higher in spots. Whitney did her thing back in the day. I honestly don't think that you could really compare the two because their approach to the song was different. Angelina was so laid back with a little rasp in her voice. Whitney was a little bolder. However, they are both absolutely brilliant and I think Whitney would be proud of how Angelina sang it and made it her own.

She isnt a Whitney for sure. Thats good. We had one. She's an Angelina. Whitney sure could belt out a power ballad. Take that away from her and just where does that leave her? I happen to like Angelina's version better than Whitney's, but thats subjective. Take the power ballad away from Angelina and where does that leave her? Jazz, blues, dance, disco, classic, country, pop, rock and some inventions of her own. Whitney was the Emelia Earhart of music. Angelina the Da Vinci of music. But she isn't Whitney.

So yang is a "good" commercial singer, just because she can go in to the whistle register doesn't make her the best; she doesn't have anywhere near the vocal versatility of Angelina if your thing is straight tone then So Yang is your type of singer; on the other hand if you want to be wrapped in a warm blanket or want to have attitude wrapped in a warm blanket or sassiness wrapped in a warm blanket or have a cry wrapped in a warm blanket and / or a myriad of other emotions wrapped in a warm blanket then Angelina is the best. I'm taking this from someone else who said it on another post Angelina Jordan can sound like a lot of different singers but none of them can sound like her.
