During her latest concert she dedicated this song to her grandmother who is still recovering and couldn’t attend. This puts the song in a very different context with a heavy emotional load. Perhaps that’s why we feel the song so strongly when she sings it. And yes it is incredible how she keeps developing herself and, you know, there is a still a bunch of years of growth ahead as well!

I agree. I can almost feel Angelina saying these things to her Grandma. Not wanting to close another door takes on a new meaning also. How many Grandparents has she had pass away? "But don't make me close one more door, I don't wanna hurt anymore. Stay in my arms if you dare, Or must I imagine you there" The bond she has with her Grandmother is a very special one. Yeah, I could imagine this being dedicated to Mery.

She did this song in Norway I was there and I heard it in life I can say is wow in real person time they were tremendous and she’s going to release a new album shortly she’s not set an interview in Norway and she’s working on it right now he had to Japan to do a concert but there will be a new album dropped shortly

That about 2 second Gap she has every time she sings this song just so you know

Well the girl expresses herself into a song like no one before her she is just so beautiful and awesome, love her

The reason that there is such emotion from her in this is because she dedicated it to her sick grandma Mery when she did this in Norway concert a couple of weeks ago, not for the same reason that Whitney had such emotion in it. Different reasons but just as heartfelt or maybe even more. Ron from California USA

Great reaction! What a fantastic performance! Looks like she's using the same antique store again, like she used for her My Funny Valentine and Suspicious Minds videos. The music she's been making in this store has been top tier and the videos visually beautiful. Love that she went back to the black and white monochrome look again. My goodness, She is one of the best singers out there today and she still has room to grow! I'm 52 and I still can't believe my favorite artist is this beautiful 16 year old artist that I can't get enough of!

Mike, that was an awesome reaction & I agree with your comments too. Looks like they even gave her the rights to her version of the song. Dropped 7-23-22. She’s 16. I love how Angie put in some of her jazzy back phrasing in it also. Check out more from Angie’s 3 concerts in Norway, 7-1-22 in Kurbadhagen, 7-7-22 at Kongsberg & 7-10-22 again at Kurbadhagen. Angie had a lot of fun & so did the fans. (Mattias Axelsson, Vidar Enerud, Kathrine Angeltveit & Trond Andersen are good channels to start with. They have some good recordings & video's) When Angie opened with a new cover called "Mt Everest" I felt it was better than the original on 7-7-22 I think.

Angelina had a great live performance of this song recently in Norway. However, with this B&W studio vid she elevated her interpretation from exceptional onto perfection. Wonderful!

Hello again! We enjoy 16 yo Angelina, loving the warmth of her lower register, the power in her belting, and the wonderful ornamentation. In this music video version, she sends us home with the long velvet ribbon of the last note. 💜

I love this version, no matter how many times I'll hear it again (to bump up her views)... But nothing can match her "SANGIN' " you right out of your 💺!!!😂😂 That was priceless; she is truly gifted, no doubt about it... Captivatingly STUNNING!! She is touching people in ways it is hard to explain. I have watched many reaction videos and Angelina stands out in the way she can amaze, shock, or simply reach into us and stir up emotions we didn't even know we were feeling before she started singing. I went back and listened to Whitney's version. Both are spectacular in their own way and Whitney has a voice that was so pure and clear, but I was moved more by Angelina's version. I felt it and seriously got goosebumps in 3-4 different places. She is so wonderful.

It’s fun and exciting to follow Angelina’s continuing rise to stardom. Most who heard her early on quickly realized she had special musical abilities, and her steady efforts to improve have led to the beautiful and “hydraulically driven” vocals she presents here. The production of her official covers of late has also been magnificent, and there seems to be consistent additions that act as nods to the original artist - pure respect. Hers is the one voice I could listen to forever - she’s everything in one.

Mike. Bingo, ok your reviews are always insightful. You hit right on the nose, Angelina doesn't even know yet the impact she has on us, not really. Listen, we all know this song has been covered more than a "free Sunday Buffet for fat guys", and of course it's sacrilege to even think about saying this might be better than Whitney's (God rest her beautiful soul) and I will send security over to your studio to protect you from a ("Randy Jackson drive by). Her approach has a emotional feel to it, not better, just more of an internal connection (for me). Whitney's approach was more of a "voice talent gymnastics" which 30yrs ago had a huge back story to it already, from the movie the relationship in "The Body Guard" (for the Genx'ers an old movie your parents loved and now a good Netflix view), made it a slam dunk for our emotions. Angelina's, approach as unseal goes right to our personal experiences in relationships we all have had and connect with ( how someone who has probably never even been out on a date let alone a relationship emote this much connection, blows my mind). Angelina doesn't have that back story Whitney was able to draw on from the movie. So she "Angelinafied" the song her way, and it felt just more personal to me, more than Whitney's, which we all loved and still love. So in a "nut shell", my intelligent producer/friend, this has always been her amazing (in her very short life) consistent gift to us all. Keep the faith!

Marc, she may not have been out on a date yet, let alone had a romantic experience, but she sure knows about love. In one of her recent concerts in Norway, she dedicated this song to her grandma Mery, who has been having medical issues lately. Her love for her soulmate, Mery, runs deep & she can draw on that for these type of songs.

Well said Marc aside your funny remark of free Sunday buffet for fat guys, lol. It's safe to say that most of Angelina's emotional pulls comes from other people and family life experience that she is able to tap into and express such as an empath.

Always better than the original... sorry Whitney but Angelina sing with more emotions.
