I'm also a big Anamal's fan. I'm 77 and the Animals "We gotta get outta this place" was the favorite song of all the military in Vietnam. The senior Officers outlawed the AFRN (Armed Forces Radio Network) from playing it. So units with their own radios would play it at their maximum power so we could all hear it. The GIs loved it.

Brought me right back to the 60's. Much better than Eric & The Animals. I was 9 yrs old when it was released and I was listening to it all through the sixties. It had Iconic status but Angelina blows them away like she does with most covers she does. And she does it with a guitar singing into a phone. If she were to perform in that era and was to turn 16 in the mid-sixties she'd have been one of the best Jazz singers of that era too at 16. Just sayin. I loved the Animals but come on that's like comparing her to pop singers today. They don't hold a candle to Angelina. On a different level. That's my thoughts on that Fred. But thanks for the feedback. She'd have probably owned the Motown era as well. I grew up in the 60's and this song was on many peoples top 10 back in the day. I've always loved it. Maybe not my top 10 but certainly a fav. It was certainly popular through the 70's & 80's. The 60's was the birth of Rock & Roll and has been lost to today's generations. ♥👣👸🏻

Õle, you’ve done it again. You’ve said exactly what I would’ve said. Like you I grew up in the 60-70’s. My older brother brother bought this album and when I was 14 I played it over and over and over again. The album was one of my favorites, and House of the Rising Sun was my favorite song on the album. I love Eric Burden and the Animals (and I still do) but honestly, Angelina KILLED it! The way she “sang” the second verse makes me excited for the blues as well as “scat” singing that Angelina is going to bless us with in the future. ❤️❤️❤️👣

Friend, I think there is a happy Mr. Eric Burdon, nodding along to her interpretation. Mr. Burdon is first and foremost, a blues singer and he of all musicians can respect the things AJ did here.

Please react to Jacob Banks, his latest live version of 'Just when I thought.' He is an amazing soul and blues singer, he is from Nigeria, but immigrated to the UK 🇬🇧 when he was 13. He is just different and powerful!! And way to underrated and under exposed.

Lets be real. A lot of singers play guitar. Thats not at all unusual. Angelina is not a great guitarist. Adequate at best. But, when you are the best vocalist on the planet, guitar playing seems inconsequential. The amazing thing, however, is Angelina obviously knows she isn't a great guitarist and she straight up doesn't care, because with this girl, you are going to get the real deal. Nothing fake. I will take her authenticity with her vocals and mediocre guitar playing over any other artist today hands down.
