I really liked the ending because she makes it sound like she has been through a lot and is exhausted and pleading for a respite. I really did not get that from Adele's version. Adele has talked about wanting to retire. She might want to just write and let Angelina perform.

I am among those who truly believe there is healing powers which come from listening to Angelina's music. Adele writes beautiful songs and Angelina sings them in her own unique style. Let's go easy on Angelina and her family, allowing them all the time they desire before letting Republic Records promote her. Awesome to see this cover has Republic's name on it while previous covers did not.

I believe Republic Records had a deal with Adele's record company and was given the track right after Adele release it with in hours I believe.

Beautiful reaction Molly, you're right, for many of us listening to Angelina sing is like a recomposition therapy, her voice has almost a soothing and reassuring effect, she is truly magical in managing the emotions she manages to pour into her voice. I love the ability that Angelina had to immerse herself in the soul of the song, with her usual naturalness and I appreciated her unique and fascinating way of giving it to us. As I loved the way she wanted to reassure us about her grandmother's health, she did it with infinite delicacy and sweetness, their heads side by side almost counterbalancing the detachment that Adele writes about in the song. But this is Angelina, practically impossible to describe, but wonderful and unique, always. 💛 🧡 ❤️

As usual; AJ has taken this to an ethereal level she is without a doubt a genius. There is something that is so special about AJ and It is not just her wonderful voice; it is her total being that draws one in.

Molly Bee, Always enjoy your reactions especially to Angelina Jordan , when she covers Adele songs. For me watching Angelina grow up form a little girl with big hair and her baby teeth coming out. Look at her now, she has turn in a beautiful young lady with a velvet voice that brings comfort to the world! Yes, I know I sound like a doting grandfather, but Angelina bring that feeling out of me, and I'm sure other seniors feel the same love for our Barefoot Angel.

Molly, great reaction. Power and control -- exactly. AJ's vocal fry is just so controlled and on pitch. I mean, who pitches vocal fry? And then add the breathiness as contrast to the fry, and it's over the top control. And then the weird thing is, all the emotion gets added as well. She holds the emotion back, then releases it in fry and breathiness. It's just astonishing how she commands her voice. She just controls my reaction to her performance in a way that I've never heard before. This is her genius.

So glad that Angelina is your "go to" for relaxation. She's medicine for the soul. Angelina must love Adele with so many covers of her. My favorite cover is "HELLO" when she was just 9 years old practicing the piano while learning the song. It's quite interesting to see her learning a new song esp. at such a tender age. My favorite relaxation song is "Every Time We Say Goodbye" at 10 years old singing with only acoustic guitar on the roof of a TV station in Oslo after an interview. I know that she has done several Adele songs, although I can't name those songs off the top of my head. What I recall is that she is an "Adele killer" with her covers of Adele. Pick any of those covers, and I think you'll be repeating those words, "I like Angelina's cover better." But, its not just limited to Adele. She does that with many artists. ... Glad that the performance picked up your spirits.

Nice reaction. Power seems to be a key difference in this cover. Adele's performance is very restrained and certainly lovely nonetheless. But Angelina's greater dynamic range along with her rarely used head voice make this an impactful performance indeed.

Angelina is a comfort, easy on me too! When the tensions of the day, the collapses of the environment, and the prospects of not being able to fight off all the predators, it is the emotion of Angelina's voice, her spirit lifts my soul. The progression of her talent is truly inspirational. Peace.

I agree with all that you said. Also, I haven't been following her from the beginning, but since she was just about 9. Still, when I watch a true reaction video, that isn't filled with pauses and a bunch of talk during the song, I get a sense of pride, just as I would if my own daughters did something that brought joy to others, when I see the smiles on the reactors faces. Beautiful reaction, Molly♥ I am one of those who has been following her since she was 7, and it has been an amazing ride this far, for sure. And the journey will continue. A common thing to hear from her fans and even reactors like yourself, who have been following and reacting to her for a while, is that they feel proud, somewhat like what a parent would feel. I think this is what happens to people, because she comes across as so pure and sincere, and a really great girl in SO many ways, that it kinda triggers our parential instincts. I am also one of those who feel incedibly proud of her, and not just because we are both Norwegian. And you ARE allowed to say hat you prefer her cover over Adele's original. It’s not just you Molly, I feel you are 100% correct, Adele is a fantastic artist, but I have to say that Angelina‘s performance is on another level. There are many very talented artists in the world, but there is usually always someone more gifted. In Angelina‘s case she is one of those artists that come along once every 100 or 200 years, The universe aligned together in just the right way with Angelina, she is a child prodigy and her upbringing and her genetics have given her a rare combination of talents. She not only speaks several languages but she is also an excellent artist like her grandmother and plays several instruments and seems to be very empathic, she also seems to have a very quick memory and strong focus. She put out her first version of this song on TickTock before she did the studio version just hours after Adele‘s release, which is incredibly amazing, and at 15 years old, just mind blowing. She immediately related with this song as to her own experiences and choices in her life and trials she has been going through as she expressed in an earlier song called “ Seventh Heaven, Seventh Heaven on her shoulders falls heavy.” Then she had the scare with her grandmother in the hospital. You can see the deep attachment at the beginning of this video with her grandmother, which is her mentor and backbone to a large degree, she seems to be with her everywhere.

It's the way she brings out a persons feelings and emotions when she sings. I like many people either cry or come close to crying whenever I hear her sing. I agree. Never has any singer in all my 53 years have ever made cry, and yet she has done it to me so many many times!! I can't explain why necessarily, she just seems to touch ones soul!

I tell people every day to listen to AJ and that you'll be so glad you did.

I hope Republic Records will ensure that a live video-audio recording of her upcoming concert performances . All of us fans will buy many copies .

It is a strange thing to have followed her grow up through a screen, I have never felt this supportive of any artists before, I like, enjoy and respect lots of artists but when it comes to Angelina my mindset is as of an proud uncle or something...which is strange as i never even met her, but whenever she waves on any of her videos i kinda wave back:)

Thank you for another grand reaction to my favourite singer. Being a very selfish old man, I hope that your need to watch and listen to Angelina happens more often :-) I was very fortunate to discover Angelina when she uploaded the video of her audition on Norway's Got Talent in 2014. At that time I was a rather grumpy and sceptical 83-year-old male and had come to the conclusion that there were no more surprises left for me. How wrong I was! This wee tot of a child, with wild hair and gaps in her mouth where there had been teeth, gave an emotional performance of the legendary Billie Holiday's "Gloomy Sunday" which left me in awe. Eight years have passed since then, and I am still in that state.

I feel you there Mr Tenfoot Sir! :) I too, thought that nothing new could really get to me. Adele, Freddy Mercury, Ella Fitzgerald... All legends. No new singers came up to the standards of them before Angelina hit me. She's revitilized my love of music! So very inspiring!

'cmon... admit it, you put off reacting to this performance is because you are still recovering from all the crying you did watching 'Train of Busan'. By the way Angelina and Adele's songs are made for each other. One of her top performances is her cover of Adele's Million Years Ago. She did this acoustic cover at home when she was 12. I am not very good at judging musical abilities so I cannot compare Adele and Angelina I think they are both great but I can say that Angelina knows much better how to pull heartstrings. She knew it from the beginning even when she was 7 people said to her that she made them cry.

I'm going to go WAY out on a limb here . . . I will share with you what I feel is Angelina's unique viewpoint that led to her great interpretation of this song. I believe Angelina immersed herself in what her life would have been like if she had been raised in a much less warmly supportive environment than she has been -- or even one as dysfunctional as AW's was. She was actually feeling empathy in this song for that much less fortunate Angelina . . . and for other performers before her who lacked the support they needed. . . . and when she was done, I'm sure she appreciated what she has today through her amazing family even more.

I agree with you, Adele & AJA have different approaches to the storyline of the song, my gosh Adele's songwriting is so top of the heap, and to have AJA interpret it with such emotion & conviction, I get the story, I feel the story, and I can relate to the characters that Adele has so adeptly wrote about, when sung by AJA, kudos to both artist, and to you Molly for sharing your enjoyment of both these artists, I share your enthusiasm of AJA, in whatever cover or original song she does, I can feel, I love that she can learn a song and feel what the author intended, her emphasis on certain words at the right time is impeccable, when I listen to AJA, her singing is untouchable, but her story telling within the song is ever greater, what a journey, she's our gift from the universe, that I think will never stop giving♥♥♥...🎵🎵😎🎵🎵
