People are at polar ends whether or not to do research beforehand- neither one is right or wrong. If I know beforehand that a singer has a certain style or signature, there is an expectation to hear these characteristics which is not a true "first reaction". So people should not complain because others think completely the opposite!

Totally agree !! and these songs are all good choices, but then with this young lady, my opinion is, there are no bad songs, only songs that are better.

Angelina is the barefooted Queen of Soul with a Thousand Voices! She weaves musical tapestries in all colors of the rainbow with her beguiling voice! Her musical artistry is second to none and it not something that can be taught. Soul + Music in perfect harmony!

LOVED your reaction. Angelina at age 15 is in her 10th year as a recording artist. Last year she signed with Republic Records as their highest priority new artist but her family, thankfully, requested she be allowed as normal a childhood as possible. Angelina is the only vocal prodigy I know of and for me, has the most soulful, emotional voice and is the only one who has made me cry. Amazingly, she has always had these qualities so the emotion she conveys couldn't come from life experiences.

It's nice that you have discovered our barefoot angel there is so much about them to say that we could talk all day without being ready to get the 1000 votes wonder because they can equalize their voice to each song without becoming a copy She makes all her arrangement itself her passion is Jazz (Billie Holiday, Etta James, etc.) Everyone says you want more emotions in your song then let it sing Angelina. Not being mean or picky but you need to read your comments back to yourself before hitting the reply button, but I do agree with you in what you are trying to get across.

I'll never understand why reactors, especially vocal coaches, don't do a modicum of research before a reaction. I mean getting the performers correct age has to be a basic right? That said.. Great reaction. Incidentally she does all her own arrangements. Has done since the age of 7.

In defense of the reactors, with MOST singers age is fairly irrelevant.

She was 8 years old when she won Norway's Got Talent. 13 when she joined AGT Champions season 2 where she's a golden buzzer holder Bohemian Rhapsody. And 15 years old in this performance.

Great breakdown of this beautiful performance by the most versatile vocal artist I have ever seen in my 74 years. She can sing any song from any genre of music & sometimes she even changes the genre of the original, like changing Queen's Rock Opera, Bohemian Rhapsody, into the most beautiful Jazz Ballad I've ever heard or her transformation of Michael Jackson's iconic Pop song, Billie Jean, into a jazz classic in her style she calls Jazzy/Pop. Virtually every vocal coach or reactor always says "I think her voice is just perfect for this song," every time. After a while they come to the conclusion that she uses the perfect voice for a particular song, not the other way around. That's why her fans call her the Angel with 1000 Voices. She is literally a Human Jukebox of songs. Even if she didn't sing a word, she would be renowned as a music arranger & many vocal artists would be hiring her to do their arrangements, that's how good she is. Oh yes, she was 9 when she did the black and white version of “I’ll Put A Spell on You”. Angelina has rearranged all her covers since she was six. Its all her! And grandma! Angelina staryed singing to jazz music at 2yo. She writes and composes and does the arrangements to songs she covers (150) plus her originals. She plays piano flute violin and guitar. She's known to be the angel with a thousand voices and has a heart just as big as her voice. As her humanitarian efforts and concerts has raised millions for children in need. Her family is very tight knit and protective of her childhood and keeping it away from the dark hooks of the music industry.

What a great group you 3 are. Good show. In the movie "Amadeus", Ben Kingsley plays Antonio Salieri, who the royal court has ranked higher than Mozart. In a private moment and in an ironic twist, Kingsley petitions God, (paraphrased here) "Why have you made the extent of my talent to be the only one who knows how much greater his talent is than mine?". Each time I listen to Angelina Jordan (and especially on this song), I feel like I'm hearing it for the first time - as I discover new little nuances at every play. I'm not sure that her maturing talent can ever be fathomed.

I'm a music publisher in Nashville and I am not qualified to critique Angelina Jordan because her natural talent is so far beyond anything I've heard or even can conceive of that the best I can do is to simply sit in awe when judging her talent with the relatively small amount of her musicality that I understand.

AJ is one of the best upcoming female singer. Even though she as been known for over 8 years now. Contrary to a lot of prodigy, she has been very well surrounded by her family and has been given the opportunity of a normal youth while developing her talent (kudos to her parents and grand-parents). You should read about why she is call "the barefoot princess" and will have even more respect for her. BTW she is also the youngest publish author in Norway at the age of 9. This human is really special. Is she even human?

Angelina is called a jazz singer, but she could also be called a Soul singer after listening to this song.

Age 9 she did * I put a spell on you * Black an white version,highly recomend it( just as good or even better than this one hehe ) and u mentioned age 13 she did * Bohemian Rhapsody * at AGT (America got talent ) that is best cover off that Song ever made.i subscribed because off ur understandig off Angelina ,gonna enjoy ur tripp down the Rabbit Hole u all have a nice day 👍☺️👍

I am 67, and I had never listened to any of Adele's music before hearing this young lady do her versions of the songs. In my opinion, and I have no musical background I just know what I like, I think Angelina Jordan now owns Adele's song "All I Ask". There is talk amongst some of Angelina's fans that she is singing about her childhood in this song. She entered Norway's Got Talent at 7 and won it just after turning 8. She has been performing on big stages all her young life. She wrote a book about why she always sings barefoot in public when she was 9, and became Norway's youngest published author. She has already donated millions of dollars from concerts and her book to needy children. She is not only a great talent, she is an amazing human being. She conveys more emotion and feeling than any other singer I have ever heard. I have listened to all of her over 150 videos many times in the past 6 years, and many still bring tears to my eyes.

Hope you check out some of the suggestions (for me, Bohemian Rhapsody (at 13), I Put a Spell On You (at 9), and Summertime (Norway's Got Talent at 8 are just 3 of her many performances that will either pull you fully into her world or leave you considering her just another good young singer). Angelina was 9 when she did her famous rendition of, 'I Put A Spell On You'. For this song she is 15. She is 15 and is 6'1" tall. The truth about Angelina is you can listen to anything she has done and it will be special. You can pretty much bet that however the song turns out, Angelina had the final say. She has been picking and arranging her music starting at 6-7 years old. She is a cheerful "tyrant" by that I mean her bandmates or whichever group of musicians all know who runs the show. The musicians she works with affectionately call her 'The Boss'. Whoever they happen to be at any given time. They all love her she is no 'Prima Donna' she works hard and expects the same from her fellow musicians. To explain the little vignettes at the beginning. The two older gentlemen, and I cannot remember their names, I do know that the piano player has a few Grammy's working with Beyonce' and other well-known artists. He specifically asked to be on Angelina's team. You can tell their relationship is very easy-going. The last little scene is of her grandma who is largely responsible for setting Angelina's feet on the right path. She has been mentor , councilor, partner in crime, and dearly loved. She recently had a cancer discovered and had surgery to remove a tumor. This hit Angelina very hard. I think this close call informed her singing of this song.

This young music genius has been doing this since she was a baby and has now perfected her craft, though just 15 years old we fully expect her to get even better (kind of scary to other singers I suppose). I agree she conveys emotion in her singing, she always does. She has an innate ability to feel the emotion in the music and convey it to her listeners in a way that they can feel. It may not be the exact same emotions that were in the writers mind but may relate to how the song makes her feel. In this song it talks about making choices as a child which I'm sure she can relate strongly to because she became a youtube sensation at 7 when she sang "gloomy sunday" for Norway's got talent and those choices she made affected her family in ways she could not for see. Another example is when she covered yesterday and sang from the girls point of view and filled the song with melancholy and longing. I really appreciated your the obvious music knowledge you three brought to this reaction. I hope we see many more..

Her first public performance, age 7, on Norway's Got Talent, Billie Holiday's "Gloomy Sunday", had one of the judges crying. She is an old soul who taps into the meaning and emotion of a song though they may be something she could never have experienced. It is the essence of her popularity married to a voice more mature and controlled than should be impossible for one her age.

Angelina is a polished professional genius that has been wowing crowds since she was 6 years old. All of the professional voice teachers who have reacted to AJ over the years have been astonished at her abilities and find it difficult to describe her because they have never experienced anyone like her. If you view all of her performances you would be aware they are all at prodigy level.

Thanks for the reaction, guys. Some answers: Angelina is 15 years old but she's been singing in public since she was 7 years old. So, she's been around quite a bit, honed her craft over the years and has made millions of fans. Adele's lyrics are perfect for Angelina's experience as an artist and, as you said, she gives them a totally different meaning. She's literally saying she was a child when she chose what to do in life and asking people, her fans, to go easy on her, to be patient. Fans sometimes get anxious and want her to go launch an album, back it up with tours and big shows. That's not Angelina's way. She and her family have always "protected" her childhood and the right to do what was her passion (singing) but at the same time enjoy being a child/teenager. Her label, Republic Recores (UMG) is obviously supporting her vision of how she wants to manage her career: growing slowly but steadily ;)

She's a child prodigy that luckily had a grandma who was also one and realized that babies can absorb much more than most people believe is able to do, with the proviso that the child is an 'advanced' prodigy like she herself was. Grandma loved jazz and that is what Angelina was raised on. She is a vocal chameleon, able to emulate any singing voice she wants to. Two of the icons she truly identified with was Billie Holiday (old style jazz) and Amy Winehouse, the most uniquely different jazz singer of all time. She incorporates 'breathy' releases that Billie was known for, but the inflections she first heard by Amy really helped her in her singing, as well. Everything from 'slurring' to sudden changes within a line, as well as numerous nuances Amy brought forth to take her to the top of the jazz genre. AJ has done over 150 covers including some of her own music. To be surprised in a good way, may I recommend Queen's difficult "Bohemian Rhapsody" she did at American Got Talent Champion Show in 2020; James Brown's the Black and White version of "I Put A Spell On You" when she was 9 years old; Etta James "I Rather Go Blind". This girl brought me to tears the first time I watched a clip of her performing Gloomy Sunday on Norway's Got Talent and she was just 7yo. I've been hooked ever since. Her evolution has been amazing to watch from that tiny little girl missing a tooth, barefoot with her hair doing its own thing to the 6' tall, persian deva she has become and she is still just 15yo! If you do the AGT Champions performance you should watch the intro and get a little backstory about her. She was 13-1/2 when that performance of Bohemian Rhapsody was recorded in October of 2019 (aired January 2020).

Angelina is a six-foot tall 15-year old musical goddess. Exploring her more will enrich your lives. She's been churning out brilliant performances since she was 7 (1). Angelina is 15 now, her birthday is in January. She signed with Republic Records around the beginning of this year. She’s been singing since the age of 3. She won her country’s version of AGT at age 7. Jazz vocals are her forte. Angelina has always done her own arrangements, part of the reason she’s called the boss.

aftr Signed with Republic in August 2020 at 14. Won NGT at age 8. She's called "the boss" because of how she takes charge of the rehearsal/recording studio and how she interacts and instructs the musicians.

She’s 15 here. She was 9 on the black and white I Put A Spell on You video, and she was 7/8 when she won Norway’s Got Talent. She was 13 when she appeared on America’s Got Talent Champions. She has over 150 songs on You Tube now, including several originals. I’ve enjoyed her at all ages. As a child, she put out some really fantastic performances between the ages 10 - 12. A reactor said that while we come into this world crying, Angelina was born singing. Yes, she is a protege, but has worked hard to perfect her talent since very early years; in an interview she said she was born to sing, and she wants to sing for the world. A very caring young girl/woman, she has helped raise millions in charity concerts. During what I call her formative years (11-13) she recorded over 100 YT "home" videos in many genres. A most wonderful musician and person. I'm proud to consider myself one of her "angels".

She is 15 here in this video. She won Norway got talent at 8 (@first audition she was still 7) and I have been following her since then. She was presented on American got talent when she was 13. And she sang the best version of Bohemian Rhapsody (beside the original) which was her arrangement there. She never 'just sing it' but she always had each song interpretated her way and made any song sounded like her own. So, you shouldn't be surprise by what she made you feel because to me, her greatest talent is not just her age, her technique wise or how she painted each word but her raw real honest soulful feeling that she can convey, always. I believe every single word she sang. To be honest, even with this song, I love this version of her more than the original of Adele. Weeks prior to the release of this video Angelina’s Grandmother (her muse and inspiration) had a medical crisis involving risky surgery. Angelina shared a bit of this concern with her fans. She and her family are very private, although they’re very generous in sharing videos of Angelina’s progress over the years. In the beginning of this video, Angelina clasps her Grandma’s hands, letting us know that she is doing well. I believe this was the source of the heartfelt emotions Angelina conveyed in her interpretation of Adele’s song. Angelina is a true empath and you see it in all of her interpretations. Angelina makes all the decisions on how to sing her songs , although she is open to suggestions . She won Norway's Got Talent right after her 8th birthday . You should review her performances at the age of 10, and her time on AGT Champions (she was 13) she made Queen and Elton John proud with her covers. She will make you cry when she remembers her grandfather in her song A Million Miles .

Angelina ALWAYS makes these covers her own. If you look at her youtube channel, you will see her at 6 years old up to the present, I think she is 16 or 17 now. At 9 years old she did am amazing black and white studio video/ cover of I Put A Spell On You. My favorite version ever. She was 13 on AGT. She first sang at 18 months old, I believe. I saw the video a couple of times. She's amazing. One of my very favorites.
